With Bristol City and Bournemouth appointing underwhelming managers, it got me thinking who the best manager in the division was.
It was obviously Bielsa this season but next season? Hardly a brilliant bunch to choose from.
It's got to be MO'N surely?

I think MON is right up there. The guy from Brentford is good as is PNEs manager Alex Neil. Paul Cook is decent and will probably get a job somewhere In the championship. Never rule out Warnock from doing the business either.

Frank from Brentford is a star manager in the making, or he already is. He's done wonders with a fairly limited squad . Having come so close to promotion, he's probably going to want to try again, but, I could see him being pursued by any PL club in trouble mext season, then if he turns a club like, say, Newcastle around, he could be managing Spurs or Arsenal next.

I’m not convinced, I’m sure there was a stat that hes been in 9 finals (promotions and cup) and lost all of them. Pretty glaring hole in a cv that.

Rowett is a terrible manager. Imagine being given 50 million quid and not being able to get out of this division.

They may look that way now that they finished in the top 6, but few wouldn have said so at the start of the season. A lot of people said that SCFC had the best squad, which was probably true, but we had a wank team. Brentford didn't.

Don't think its MON just yet, he is just cutting his teeth at this level of club football.
Warnock must be up there, with the amount of times he's got clubs promoted.

I’d say he’s up there with the jobs he’s done at everywhere but here. Cook at Wigan. The Barnsley manager has done a sensational job since he got there. MON similarly should be considered. The PNE manager has done a tremendous job with fuck all too.

Rowett is a solid manager in this division and did a great job to get Millwall near the playoffs. Just because he didn't get instant success here doesn't mean he wouldn't have got us promoted given time. He's done really well with some difficult clubs. One of the most underrated managers.
MON performed a miracle last season and his man management skills are up there with the best. I know I'm being biased but we have the best manager in the Championship.
The Preston manager started well but they fell away like a stone last season. Don't know what went wrong there but they struggled in the second half of the season.
I don't know who the Cardiff manager is but they ended the season well and had a really good season, their manager must be up there if he can repeat it next season.

That Nathan Jones fella at Luton has performed miracles for them. I think he had a failed stint somewhere else in between but it couldn’t have been that bad.

He is the man that did all the groundwork for Rowett at Millwall: Neil Harris.
