Brentford have been fantastic this year, just completely stifled in this final. |

I said their recruitment gives them a chance. And it has. They have just lost in the playoff final and were 2 points off automatic promotion. |

You could argue that Brentford's strategy hasn't worked again. They do recruit great players but not once have they kept a side together and you feel will happen again now and they will sell

Fulham stifled Brentford just like we did. Seems eventually teams worked them out. Brentford much vaunted recruitment team will have a tough job if a couple of key players go

We may not have had the greatest season but at least we ruined two teams’ chances of promotion. We knocked Forest out of the playoffs and Brentford out of a spot for automatic promotion. Always a silver lining. The four fixtures next season should be crackers because they will be out for blood.
