Just hope Brentford win. Although they lost I thought they were excellent when they recently visited us. ⚓️

I'm rooting for Brentford. They've led the way in sensible recruitment and budgeting. They are better than Fulham but means nothing tonight. Watkins and Benrahma are excellent and the latter will definitely go to a Premiership club if they don't make it (he might even if they do) and Watkins is better than Maupay and look at where he is now.

Agree about Watkins and Banrahama but don't discount Mbuemo for next season.
Brentford broke their transfer record to sign him last July yet he only turns 21 this week. This is only his first season away from France yet after he got into hs stride, he was outstanding right up to Xmas.
He faded a little after New Year - only to be expected really - which morphed into the lockdown, where he actually contracted the virus, albeit with mild symptoms. He was decidedly below par post-lockdown, but the manager kept faith and was rewarded wth the vital 3rd goal vs Swansea.
There's every chance he'll blossom in his 2nd season at Brentford, like eg Maupay and Benrahma before him - I reckon he's one to watch out for, whichever league he's in.

Well that's the minority sorted I use NOW TV (part of Sky) to watch a lot of Spurs games. It's a one of payment (no contract) of £9.99 for 24 hours of Sky Sports, or £14.99 for a week. I usually only buy the weekly deal if two Spurs games are on in that time.

Think Brentford will do it tonight, a lot of sides would've felt sorry for themselves after losing 3 in a row with promotion in the palm of their hands but they responded magnificently to do Swansea over.

Mind you, pre-lockdown, I preferred to go to my local sports bar, where £9.99 bought me my first two pints and a bag of crisps, and I didn't have the other half complaining about me sitting around the house while she was trying to watch her programmes!

Selfishly i would like to go Brentford new ground next year and never enjoy Fulham as find it soulless and too many jumpers over the shoulders , pink or mustard cords. But, Brentford deserve it and red and white , so hope they do it.

Can't stand that little prick Scott Parker. For that reason I want Brentford to win and see him cry the cock.

Prior to kick-off, less than 20 minutes coverage for the playoff final on BBC Radio 5, and there's no commentary of the match either.

Why on earth we didn't buy Ollie Watkins instead of McCLean or Ince I'll never know.

It's arguably one of the most important games of the season and bbc can't be arsed? They have no problem live commentary for meaningless prem games. Truly shocking

Each to their own. I used to prefer watching it in a pub with mates, and the atmosphere. But a lot of times with the drink and noise (and a few times a bit of aggro with others, Arseanal, Chelsea fans etc. cheering on the opposition) you miss a lot of the action. so the last few years I've sat at home, sometimes with a mate or two, watching the games. Fortunately (unfortunately?), I don't have another half to complicate matters.
