Has he ever played in midfield at any stage of his career previously?. If not then full praise goes to Oneil for giving him an opportunity there.

Interesting to see how it develops

It would be a shame for him to become a free agent next summer just as his profile is starting to rise.

It’s something that needed to happen years ago.

He played in midfield a fair bit in the academy, so credit really goes to Russell and the other academy coaches. Nonetheless credit to O'Neill for backing down on what he said earlier this year that he still saw Tymon as a fullback.

Do we know what Tymons contractual situation is FM? It would be a shame for him to become a free agent next summer just as his profile is starting to rise. There's a solution to that. We should start negotiations soon. Tymon has had many chances to leave, but he chose to stay. He'll appreciate his own slightly bigger value now, but he'll sign a renewed contract

Fox is O'Neill's signing and so he will play when fit in the league. McClean is another O'Neill favourite. But Josh is forcing others to play better. O'Neill has as good as said that Tymon is on the brink of regular action. By the end of the season he may very well be a regular.

you gonna need that tin hat Jones was the one that ruined his confidence. Played him at left back with a narrow diamond midfield in front of him that offered little protection. He then proceeded to haul him off before half time in one game and then shipped on loan. In my opinion Jones deserves zero credit as he nearly ruined the lad for good

All the credit has to go to the manager with this one. He's spotted something in him to give him a go in central midfield and the player has backed that up. Maybe he saw him playing on his last loan, he also played CM for them too.

I would say at home at least he is ahead of Fox as a wing back. Offers way more going forward. Fox for me has shown very little going forward thus far.
