I mean it's exactly what you said I must have some severe mental disorder then because I could have sworn I never said the name Anthony Joshua, but since you say that's exactly what I said, it must be true. If you think it's appropriate for a white man to appropriate and exploit a black rights movement to get out of repercussions for controversial choices, and that it's the same as a black man talking using the same black rights movement to talk about black issues, then frankly, I think you miss the point of the BLM thing in the first place. And you're accusing him of misrepresenting?

In the mid 80’s I spent several weeks in Ballymena- to be a Catholic there was the equivalent of being a Negro in 1920’s Tulsa- yes it was that bad. No-one can/should defend the discrimination which Catholics endured in Ballymena at that time. But really, you owe American Blacks an apology for insulting them by comparing their plight in those days as though it was equivalent: And if you don't agree, then I'd suggest you talk to a Catholic who was brought up there during the 80's. Please don’t be so precious- clearly 300 Catholic’s have not been massacred in Ballymena; however I wanted to point out to the poster who did not know that sectarianism/ racism was a real issue in Northern Ireland, was that a Catholic’s lot in certain areas of Northern Ireland was an incredibly difficult one. I am certainly not going to apologise to Black Americans who I don’t know, in which I had no involvement , for an historic event which was clearly wrong. Where does it stop- should we apologise for Dresden? For Oliver Cromwell- history doesn’t treat these events kindly and shouldn’t necessarily do so- but they happened and trying to rewrite events and being repentant for events outside of our control is just pious zealatory gone mad.

Then why not just say so, without bringing in a crass, frankly insulting comparison with something which was on a whole different scale?

I just wish he could cross a ball. Too many times gets in a good position puts it behind or overhits it.

I don’t condone some of the things JM has said and done, especially some of his social media output which has brought the club into disrepute by association, but I stand behind him on this. The lack of support he receives does feel like double standards to me.

I cannot believe the number of complaints that I have had from insulted people; I humbly apologise. While I’m at it I would like to apologise for the decimation of the Mayan civilisation by our god fearing Spanish brethren who only wanted to spread the word of God. I would also like to apologise for sharing this board with the thought police and for not asking their permission to publish, there must be thousands of people being insulted everyday.

Even the Irish press think he's a bit of a dick. If this circus came with someone with the skills of, say, an Arnie, he could come onto the pitch in camouflage gear with the Wolfe Tones playing on the tannoy and I wouldn't give a shit. As it is though, he's basically Gerry McMahon with tats, so he can take his balaclavas and shit crosses and fuck off sharpish.

McClean. Celtic or Hibs wanna be. Call me bigoted I really don't care a jot. I will give him his due, only player show a single flying fuck this season. But I do not like him shoving his politics down my throat. It would be no big shock if he moves over the border at the end of this season if Celtic or Hibs came looking. The Bhoy brings to many distractions where ever he plays.

Fine, we all do it from time-to-time, incl me.
But most of us just accept it, put it down to experience and move on.

The Bhoy brings to many distractions where ever he plays. He'd have a shock if he moved to Hibs. Their fans take a big Union Jack to games (in Hibs colours, green instead of blue). I was quite surprised actually, as I assumed Hibs were Edinburgh's 'Celtic-lite'.

Thank you Mr. Orwell. Complaints now up to the round number that they started at.

I was never his greatest fan before he joined us,then as a left back or wing back he looked awful. I can only talk about the football, that’s what this is about. Since MON joined, he has been transformed. He is committed, strong, faster than I thought and strikes fear into opponents when charging forward. I am a convert. Give the bloke some credit for his contribution. His goals and assists have made our resurgence possible. He isn’t the best in the world by a long way, by he gives it all and that’s the entry criteria many have failed.

I admit I don’t like him and his political views but I’ve never abused or booed him at a game, I just tend to ignore him and never clap even when he scores ( not very often ) I haven’t got a problem with him not wearing a poppy, that’s his right not to wear one if he feels like it and most veterans agree, but it’s his open support for a terrorist scumbag organisation that winds us up. His claim that his abuse is because of his poppy stance and it started before he started playing in England is bollocks, he’s the one who keeps bringing it up by singing IRA songs in public, calling scumbag murderers heroes, IRA tats on display and posting IRA bollocks on social media etc etc ......
and I also don’t get the love in with his football ?? Yes he puts a shift in and can run and run but so does my dog ! I wouldn’t put her down the wing though 🤷😂 he’s just a average footballer more suited to playing on the Marsh on a Sunday.

Smith did the same.

He seems to do better when he doesn't have time to think about it. Cant fault his defensive work though!

Great cross for the goal. 44 games it’s taken. The rest of his passing tonight was utterly abysmal
