Great cross for the goal. 44 games it’s taken. The rest of his passing tonight was utterly abysmal His 6th assist of the season to add to his 6 goals...... Don’t let facts get in the way of an agenda though!

He's been one of our better players this season if not our best consistently which in truth, is a very sorry reflection on the rest of them. The only decent player we have is Powell. He's miles ahead of the rest of his teammates.

McClean. Celtic or Hibs wanna be. Call me bigoted I really don't care a jot. I will give him his due, only player show a single flying fuck this season. But I do not like him shoving his politics down my throat. It would be no big shock if he moves over the border at the end of this season if Celtic or Hibs came looking. The Bhoy brings to many distractions where ever he plays. He'd have a shock if he moved to Hibs. Their fans take a big Union Jack to games (in Hibs colours, green instead of blue). I was quite surprised actually, as I assumed Hibs were Edinburgh's 'Celtic-lite'. Read the Hibs history. Originally Catholic. I have been to Scotland more times that I can remember, bigotry is alive and well in Edinburgh. Also alive and kicking through out the rest of Scotlsnd. Getting back to the Mr Mc Clean He would leave us at the drop of a hat to join any of the following Celtic, Hibs, Cliftonville etc. He is what he is. Like I said in my earlier post I can not fault him for effort, but his political views boil my piss. I have family members and friends that served in Ulster during the troubles and I can never bring myself to agree with him or his kind.

Load of bollocks as usual Spot on more like Doubt it. To come on here calling fellow fans bigoted cunts as they question Maclean’s quality is exactly what I said “A load of bollocks” I’m no fan of Maclean, and I’ll make that known. However I don’t for one minute question the lads effort and determination. However I do question his ability with a football.

I just wish he could cross a ball. Too many times gets in a good position puts it behind or overhits it. Who crossed the ball today for us to score Also, who crossed the ball on Sunday. Sir answer was the man who you say cannot cross a ball I rest my case It was a good cross for the goal, his crossing most of the time is still bad. Doesn't change my opinion of his crossing. His effort is always outstanding, shame more players can't match his effort but if his crossing was better, we'd score more.

By his kind I presume you mean Catholic. History books are always worth a read, not everything in Ireland was instigated by Catholics.

Quite ironic that it was his quality cross that created the goal, because in the first half he did what I call a McClean - a head down run down the flank, committing man after man before wellying a cross to an empty box.
I quite like him if truth be told. Never moaned this year despite being played out of position by both managers. Always given his best and has been arguably our most committed player.

Player of the season between him and Clucas Yes I agree with that. I'd just give it to Clucas because he has that extra quality in possession. If it was based on being prepared to die on his feet for the team then McLean wins it hands down.

I’d give player of the season to Nick Powell
Truth is everyone was garbage under Jones but perhaps McClean and Clucas were ok
Powell has been excellent and pivotal in our revival

It was a superb cross!!! I just can’t help adding for a change though. It’s not the norm is it? Boy I wish it was. His effort is superb, his application .... It doesn’t have to be every cross, that is unreasonable, once a game would still be good. I’ll stop. I don’t want to be negative it was a superb cross, well done tonight James.

Instead of just racing for the ball and adopting a "hit and hope tactic", today he took an extra touch, composed himself before putting the ball into a great area for our goal The weight of the pass to him helped, both Clucas and Powell have the control to give him a bit more time on the ball Seeing the highlights he made several reasonable attempts to repeat this A frustrating season all round, Maclean has done well,is a very useful squad member - especially if the league retain the 5 subs system The season will start later so more midweek games to come
