he could be completely past it & still be better than Ward! absolutely we MUST SIGN A LEFT BACK ideally a good one but even an average one would be a huge improvement if his legs haven't gone & O'Neill wants Brunt on the bench covering left back & midfield as 'the good pro'/good voice then that make sense to me After everything we’ve been through, people are still under estimating the need for good honest pros, with the right attitude and strong personality. Will Brunt be any better or more of a pro than Ward? There's also something to be said about turning over a squad too often. I wouldn't want either as first choice, but if we have to sell, i'd be much happier to lose Indi's wages and bring in a first choice lb. |

Mine is consistent whatever the league tbh bar Clucas. New Goalkeeper Edwards Collins New CB New LB New DM Clucas/Sorensen (depending on the league) New right winger Powell Verlinden Campbell This. I'd be happy with a fit shawx alongside collins. There has to be a decent DM out there we could afford? Assuming Allen will be sold once fit? |

I never saw Ian Wright out muscle a centre half or boss it in the air once . Nobody cared ! He left all that to Alan Smith or AN other ( hartson ?) And scored about 200 goals I lost count of the amount of times , the score was Arsenal 1 ( Wright ) other team 0 So long as you score the goals , nobody cares about the rest |

NEW LEFT BACK   if we sign some other players but don't sign e left back (tbh 2 lb's) then everyone concerned should get both barrels This has to be number one priority. The second should be getting out Butland and Lindsay. Other than that, I think that the team is well placed to do good things next year under O'Neill, especially if we can start the season on a good note. The pressure will be off the backs and a fresh start could be all we need once we add some balance to the left side. . Add Edwards to that. |
