If you ain't got the correct application and attitude then ability is irrelevant. It's no coincidence that he's had a lot of clubs. He's also got some serious technical flaws for a winger such as his severe inability to do anything other than cut in on his left foot, distinctly average crossing ability and rarely beats a man, in part due to point one making him incredibly predictable. All in all hasn't got loads going for him! Tbf cuting in is what an inverted winger normally does.

Allowing them to cut in on to their stronger foot and shoot , or go wide and cross with ( their still very decent ) weaker foot . Which is ideal. And some very good traditional one footed wingers like ethers and pennant , just stuck to being a traditional winger and did it very well The idea that Ince is one footed , but somehow in some way better than ethers and pennant is pushing it , from what I have seen

Arnie used to cut in a lot but had so many assists from beating his man and crossing with right or left foot.

So he's still hanging on due to no one else wants him enough.
Do we think he'll knuckle down and actually try and resurrect his failing career?

I think once mon thinks you’re wank, you’re staying wank in his eyes. He’ll be serving hot dinners in the staff canteen for the rest of the season.

Ince has 2 good feet. Trouble is, his right foot is on the left and his left is on his right. Maybe that's why he keeps falling over.

Arnie used to cut in a lot but had so many assists from beating his man and crossing with right or left foot. Arnie is a different level though and you expect it of players with his kind of class, there's a reason Ince has stayed in the Champ for most of his career.

I guess a lot depends on how much he wants to play football. The lack of movement perhaps provides the answer.

I was told he nearly went in the last window but it fell through at the last minute. I don`t know the club he would have gone to.

a: Rowett maybe? b: nobody if he goes anywhere it will have to be a subsidised loan Yeah - I was hoping there may be Rowett interest - but isn't their best player, Wallace, a right winger? And doubt they could afford more than a modest slice of his wages. Which wouldn't help us much, but is better than nothing. If he isn't even on the bench before Matondo arrives, he's not going to figure much going forward. I thought we'd reached the stage in the last window where we needed to loan him out just to get him playing and in the shop window, regardless of wage contribution - and we've surely reached that stage now? But maybe there really was/is zero interest from the calibre of clubs Ince would be interested in

Doesn't Gary Mellor have significant contacts in the MLS? Maybe he's trying to help us get shut of the deadwood by alerting clubs to some superb players sitting idle at Stoke City.

Odd as he’d absolutely rip it apart over there. I have a suspicion about Ryan. His was on the market before Christmas although the local rumour was he wants to move closer to Nantwich apparently. But having seen the listing and the house he seems mad to want to move!

Mmm...now that is putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5. Bauer likes to travel. You'd think he'd be a prime candidate for MLS and Ince to be fair. Less so Wimmer though he'd sure as hell enjoy the burger joints.

His kids is Crewe’s academy though, would be tough on the family? So I don’t see it.

Ryan's son, or at least one of them, is in stokes academy. He's u11/12 I think. I had a chat with him when he was watching him play in a game at liverpool academy.

I think there is still a good player somewhere in there, he really needs to move though as I don't see him becoming a regular again for us, he's talented but he's just far too soft.
A move abroad might be good for him but I can't see him lasting long if he goes north of the wall, he'd be eaten alive in Scotland. Perhaps the MLS or China.

Every single defender he's come up against in the last two (?) years has had him on toast.
