Surely we've won the lottery if we just have his wages paid? Why? He will still have a good reputation in the game and I would imagine just been seen as another that can be saved from us and the malaise we seem to induce. Bayern, his malaise started at Huddersfield. He hasn’t been a good player for over 3 years. He has no form at all in the Premier League. I don’t wish anybody ill, and if he moves it’s up to him to prove that he has something to offer. So long as I don’t have to witness his performances , good luck to whoever will take him off our hands. What will that be, club 345?

He isn't good enough for the Premier League I agree but he's one of the best attackers you could hope for in this division imo.

to be fair to Rowett can see why he went for him, his form in this league at Blackpool & Derby suggested he should have been a hit, under Rowett he was hot & cold but his form under Jones & O'Neill has been very depressing. the £10m fee is down to Scholes of course, agreed. what could we have got him for at the time? would speculate that we could have got him for around £8m but that's a guess really He was excellent under Rowett tbf. Cannot agree with that. Just my opinion but he had excellent moments but not that often. Since Rowett left I can hardly remember an excellent moment when it was needed.

There's a good player in there, alas that good player is so good at hiding he's tied joint 1st with Lord Lucan in the world hide and seek championship

No idea why WBA want him in the PL mind, that is mad and I'd snap their hand for 3-4m.

Sadly I think Mince to WBA won’t happen. They would have to buy him as they already have two loan signings and apparently can’t sign a third. That means them buying him. FFP will dictate what price he is sold and I imagine that will put most off. Loan elsewhere is more likely.

Key words Bayern there “hope for” we’ve all hoped he’d be an asset for us but the true if the mater is he’s a terrible player and absolutely awful transfer

The best we could have ever hoped for with Ince, and Afobe, is/was a good record at this level to help us back up and then sell them on back to a club in the Championship. Sadly with both we never got anything out of them in the Championship, which leads us to where we are today.
Clucas has been the best of the Rowett buys by a mile and is the one player we could genuinely make a profit on.

www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/steven-gerrard-cools-mo-besic-22783539Steven Gerrard has cooled talk he was on the verge of capturing Everton midfielder Mo Besic – but he is pushing hard to land a playmaker before Monday’s transfer deadline.
The Ibrox boss is looking to add one more key signing before the window shuts while keeping hold of key men and has been tracking £4million-rated Preston schemer Daniel Johnson.
Director of football Ross Wilson is pursuing several other options and has been alerted to the availability of stars such as Stoke City’s Tom Ince and Goodison man Besic.

Robson Kanu has broken his arm so maybe this will definitely go through now as WBA can only replace him with a lower level EFL player
If the rumour of this transfer is true of course

He is 30 now and we bought him for $6m. I think he is a good signing and has done well for us but there's no way we are making any money out of selling him. To be honest I was shocked to find out he was 30. I thought he was in his mid twenties.
