Stop melting down and get over it. I'll get over it when a proper leader is in charge of the country. In other words Nige. Maybe we could organise something, on a certain day, where every adult in the country gets to select a party they want to run the country, and the leader of the party that most people select would be Prime Minister.

Putting his personal feelings about that toss pot Starmer to one side for the good of our nation. The man is a living legend. Starmer has kicked his arse once in an election, so I doubt he is going to turn to him for help. It would be like Kamala Harris calling Trump to offer her services in running the country, because that's what is best for the nation.
beat him but not quite kicked his arse.
as biden would say , reform lost but weren't defeated.

Big Nige once again showing why he is Great Britain’s man of the people. Putting his personal feelings about that toss pot Starmer to one side for the good of our nation. The man is a living legend. The "man" is a grifter and an out and out racist. And you support him. Weird.

Can sleep better tonight lads. Only been 300 years since the last invasion and a 1000 since the last successful one. Can never spend too much on the defence (attack) budget just incase.

Nice to know there’s plenty of money sloshing about. The collective brown-nosing of Trump now he’s been elected makes my skin crawl. People thought they were being brave by speaking out against him are now rowing back on their bravery to appease the president elect in the hope they might get something favourable thrown their way.

Trump wanted Nato countries to spend 4% of GDP on it during his last term. www.politico.eu/article/trump-suggests-nato-allies-should-double-defense-spending-target-to-4-percent/

I can only imagine the complete lack of comment a proposed increase in defence spending would have drawn had, ooh let's say Nigel Farage, announced it. Or maybe even one in support, acknowledging that Europe has become a less stable place since Putin became emboldened by his friendship with certain US leaders? 😂

A complete non story In the financial year 2023/24 UK spent £54.2Bn on Defence Budget or 2.3% of GDP In Reeves Budget she increased Defence Budget by 4.5% to £57.1Bn so UK will probably reach 2.5% in the financial year 2024/25 or soon after. If you're doing something anyway why not blow smoke up Trumps ass that he was the one to make it happen. Not a penny more will be spent on Defence no matter what Starmer is allegedly due to say, but there are ways of saying something it's called Diplomacy.

I'm enjoying watching all those who've spent the last 18 months up to the election claiming that all politicians are the same tie themselves up in knots pointing out the complete opposite, often when it's not actually the case 😂

Not all doom and gloom lads. Having read this I can now see how much better off I am compared to last year. As Labour have only been in office 4 months this is a forward looking Statement not a backward looking one, but you knew that In contrast the last Parliament left people poorer which had never in history happened before and that was just a continuation of the mismanagement of the previous 9 years. Households are worse off since the last election (2019) says the IFSwww.bbc.co.uk/news/business-68489236.amp
