Newcastle-under-Lyme's Pervy ParliamentarianFormer Newcastle-under-Lyme Conservative MP Aaron Bell has been reprimanded by Parliament's standards watchdog for "brazen and drunken" sexual misconduct. The Player was found to have touched a woman "on her left thigh, waist and bottom inappropriately and without her consent" in one of Parliament's bars in December 2023. Presumably his punishment should be nothing short of stiff.

Not only are all with earned income not going to see a tax rise on that income in this budget, but now the lowest earners are getting a pay rise. What about the poor second property owners who may see increased tax on their unearned rental income? Or the poor shareholders who may have their dividends taxed nearly as much as earned income is!? It is the owners of capital who are the really poor. Not the people paid minimum wage to work for them. We need to tax the poor more and tax the rich less otherwise they will all leave!
