If he were a Tory and it were sexual assault he’d be protected and kept anonymous by the party and certainly not have the whip withdrawn!

Is there an innate inability to define anything from any politician nowadays?

Because I’m one. Joking aside, I think it is crucial for politicians to have had real jobs. In my opinion you are not qualified to run a government department if you haven’t had a relevant job. Lawyer in charge of justice. Doctor or nurse in charge of health etc. So i do think Starmer’s prior work experience is better than just studying PPE at Oxford after attending some expensive private school and never having had a real job. Agree 100% regarding qualifications of Secretaries of State. How can a Defence Secretary one day become Education Secretary the next day. It’s bonkers but unfortunately runs rife throughout the civil service as well. Rory Steward spoke about how Boris Johnson gave him his one of his ministerial roles. He’d requested to be Minister of State for the Middle East as he’d spent time there, spoke some Arabic and had previously advised on policy relating to that part of the world. Johnson asked him if he knew the capital of one of the African nations to which he replied he didn’t know. Johnson said something along the lines of “you’re pulling my pisser - the African job is yours”. The way ministers are placed and moved around is a complete farce. Although you can’t rule out Johnson not knowing there’s a difference between the ME and Africa.

Who are the thugs supposed to be? No doubt he'll get off with a slap on the wrist from his boss. I'm just glad this cctv has now been released. Because yesterday there was only a shorter video and he was playing the intimidation card. A regular occurrence for seemingly only labour mps. Here is his statement where he played victim This is the changed labour party.Mike Amesbury is part of the hard left Corbyn supporting MPs elected in 2017 so I'm not sure what your comment is meant to represent Amesbury won the Annual MPs Dog Competition in 2018 with his Spaniel called Corbyn

What makes you believe Amesbury is part of some hard left corbyn faction? Those members tend not be part of labour friends of Israel.

You can generally judge someone by the company they keep The Campaign Against Antisemitism, which formally referred the party to the EHRC in 2018 prompting its investigation, submitted complaints against Corbyn when the report was published – along with 16 other sitting Labour MPs. These include MPs such as Diane Abbott, Rebecca Long-Bailey, Tahir Ali, Mike Amesbury, Apsana Begum, Richard Burgon, Barry Gardiner, Lloyd Russell-Moyle, Barry Sheerman and Zarah Sultana, but also frontbenchers Angela Rayner, Steve Reed, Mike Amesbury and Afzal Khan. The organisation has given Labour “six months to conduct transparent investigations and finally deliver justice for the Jewish community”. labourlist.org/2020/11/labour-the-ehrc-report-and-corbyns-suspension-one-week-on/

He’ll be leading a protest and saying how sorry he is to Amesbury’s family that he was interviewed by the nasty police officers. Justice for Mike.

Because a complaint was made against him for antisemitism that means he's hard left corbyn faction. This is a new low. Is Luke Akehurst also a far left corbynista? Hard left Steve Reed from your list: "On 27 June 2016, Reed resigned as Shadow Minister for Local Government as part of the mass resignation of the Labour Shadow Cabinet against Jeremy Corbyn's leadership of the Labour party.[32][33] He supported Owen Smith in the 2016 Labour leadership election.[34]" I'd retract that statement it looks very poor.

They'd have swept it under the carpet if a member of the public hadn't filmed it. Look forward to him being fast tracked to jail over the next 2 weeks for a 5yr stretch.

Absolute bollocks and you know it This mp is suspended because within hours video evidence was available in the public domain What will be interesting is if two tier kier pressures the dpp into a quick charge and he’s in court within days

Margaret Hodge accused the very same organisation of "being more concerned with undermining Labour than rooting out antisemitism" This was after Corbyn and under Starmer of course, I mean you couldn't make this stuff up. A non-Jewish board member posed as a Jew under the name "David Goldstein" (or something similar) so he could make up tales of antisemitism by the so-called hard left. They don't give two shits about the scourge of actual anti-Semitism.........

The comment from GAWA I was replying to was "This is the changed labour party" I replied that Amesbury was part of the Corbyn wing of the Labour Party My original explanation was insufficient for GAWA to accept and so I followed up with a link to the fellow MPs he has been grouped with and no i don't believe that shit either but Amesbury is far from being part of "the changed Labour" this being a slur on anyone that supports Starmer as opposed to Corbyn which is what I was replying to.
