Wonder how the sponsorship arrangements work out on these retro's. Guessing RICOH & CARLING just receive free advertisement of their companies from us, wonder if the club needs to seek approval first or just crack on with them..
Seem to remember that us using the Stoke On Trent City crest was abit political back in the day to. Wonder if permissions had to be sort in that too.

I always prefered the 1994/95 white collar version of the Carling kit. If I remember right many supporters refused to buy it after the club went back on its promise to keep the 1993/94 strip for two seasons.

It was all voted on back in March so guess they've gone with the designs that were the most popular choices. Although they did hint that they were going to be making a couple of extras too. Have noticed a 70's keepers shirts been released aswell. Wouldn't mind one the 80's umbro tracksuit tops being recreated. The Club Shop did do the Black & Red Umbro one Mick Mills used to wear so not sure if that'll be something they look at doing again.

Makes you feel old when the guy modelling the shirt wasn’t even born when it was originally out..

If I remember right many supporters refused to buy it after the club went back on its promise to keep the 1993/94 strip for two seasons. That is my all time favourite home kit. The red stripes had the old crest embossed into them in a darker red. Was a super kit and a masterclass in how to make striped kits interesting without wrecking them.

Wonder if these retro options will be available for kids. My youngest would be buzzing to get a Gordon Banks style Keeper top.

Sometimes goods are always dearer if purchasing online direct from the supplier. I reckon they'll be in the club shop for somewhere in the £45-50 kind of bracket.
