The Asics ones on those drawings even have the shadowed city crest in them as well.
The Stein one Black doesn't belong on Stoke shirts for me or red collars. Not one of those who gets all carried away if they don't like a football kit, after all is a football shirt but our home ones of late been a lot better than some of the 80s/90s ones

Certainly was, we also added Robbie James to that So naturally Ritchie Barker decided to bypass that talent & chose to lump the ball up to the tiny Ian Painter. Easily the worst tactical decision any Stoke manager has ever made Particularly as we had signed Dennis Tueart as well. I met Dennis Tueart at the races a few years back, he sold hospitality at the racecourse, forget which one. He said was the ultimate low point and couldn't wait to join Burnley as had no idea what he had let himself in for joining us. George Berry said something along the lines of 'Tuart was the biggest waste of space' he ever player with'

It's the 94-95 season (Gleghorn) shirt for me. I always liked it as it was pure red and white colours with white edging & also liked the blended in Stoke badge design into the stripes which seem to be the correct spacing apart as striped shirts for us go! For some random reason this is one of the only home shirts I never purchased & dont actually possess so maybe that's what's swaying me for picking this one out of this bunch of which I own original of all the others!

I don't think the likes of Tueart and Joe Corrigan etc will look back fondly on their brief spells with us. Was a shame as the season before was exciting and Football Focus tipped us as the team to watch ....ouch

I liked that one so much I bought two! One at the start of the season that I wore alot, and another in the end of season sale that I kept in its packaging for posterity. I'd still like them to do a decent version of the Umbro early 80's one. Wore it religiously as a kid - along with the classic red tracksuit jacket. If they could get the Umbro logo and diamonds on it, that'd be a winner too.

I know the Purple & white will be a popular choice & it was a great shirt at the time but not so sure a retro edition will truly capture the greatness it had back in the day.. The 94-95 green & black striped top wins this one for me.

It has to be 94/95 for me. Plus I've got 93/94 already so it's also purely for selfish reasons

Well these polls are all well and good. I won't expect anything to happen for another ten years knowing stoke.
Have the club even said what the plan is for the retro range or if there is one??

Any chance of those enormous baggy shorts that players wore in the 30s?Perhaps someone could see a gap in the retro market and sell them as a package along with a pipe and jar of brylcreem for the real retro football fan, matchday experience. Rattle and rosette optional extras Knitted scarves 🧣 too.
