It's not that retro, but I'd like to get my hands on the black away top from around 2009. That was a thing of beauty. I have it and have never worn it. Looked nice but it was a horrible fit so away it went, never to see the light of day again. It’s yours if you want it.

Whilst on this subject, just got my hands on one of these bad boys on Ebay. Replica of the one Butland wore in honour of Banksy. Still say the shop should have done these, it would have made charities a fortune!

Why don't they use colour photos so you can see said strip in colour?

That 86-87 away shirt pic is definitely not Phil Heath, its Chris Hemming. Whoever's researching & publishing this subject has guessed on that one & is wrong thinking that's Heath!

If you're not picking Berry Cristal Tiles, what is wrong with you? Because the "O'callaghan Ricoh" one is by far and away the best.....and quite possibly the best ever designed Stoke shirt ever...........well,so far!!! Agreed. But personally it's a close-run thing between that early 80's one and the 94-95 Asics "Carling" one. If they can replicate the watermarked badge in the red stripes, it's a no-brainer for the shop:

Any chance of those enormous baggy shorts that players wore in the 30s?Perhaps someone could see a gap in the retro market and sell them as a package along with a pipe and jar of brylcreem for the real retro football fan, matchday experience. Rattle and rosette optional extras

I'd have a few in a heartbeat if they got rid of the sponsorship, or offered them without.

Personally I think they look shit without the manufacturers logos on them. They just look what they are, cheap shit imitations.

Aston Villa have recently released some new retro tops and all the old umbro shirts look identical to how they did back in the day including the original 'Umbro' logo's. I'd understand it if it was Everton doing umbro retro tops because they have umbro as their current kit manufacturers & Villa obviously have Kappa so being linked to kit supplier isnt an issue for them. So maybe Stoke could do a proper job on this and if Umbro kits are winning the polls approach them to make us some proper retro wear. Would fly off the shelves I'm sure of it, come on Stoke get it done, one chance to make fans happy with some blasts from the past!

I remember when me Dad brought me the home & away umbro kits (one each Christmas), I was fascinated by the diamonds down the sleeves and shorts, could never stop looking at them when playing footy up the park!!!

I think as a permanent tribute that’s all our keeper should wear at home let’s be honest it looked the dogs bollocks when Butland wore it. Sure the club can miss bet365 off the goalies shirt forever and just have a classic like that

Going off message a little but someone has mentioned the 83-85 mclroy kit , comes with a midfield of Sammy mclroy , Mickey Thomas , Paul bracewell and mark Chamberlain . Wow ! That's class , hard working , hard running and shed loads of footballing ability

If they had the diamonds they’d sell so many more. They just look cheap otherwise. I had the blue pinstripe kit it must have had mystical powers as I scored a hat trick in it once which if you saw me play was nothing short of a myrical. I had just moved up to the NE. You can imagine how it went down amongst all the Newcastle and Sunderland kits.

That's class , hard working , hard running and shed loads of footballing ability Certainly was, we also added Robbie James to that So naturally Ritchie Barker decided to bypass that talent & chose to lump the ball up to the tiny Ian Painter. Easily the worst tactical decision any Stoke manager has ever made

The Asics ones on those drawings even have the shadowed city crest in them as well.

Easily the worst tactical decision any Stoke manager has ever made Particularly as we had signed Dennis Tueart as well. I met Dennis Tueart at the races a few years back, he sold hospitality at the racecourse, forget which one. He said was the ultimate low point and couldn't wait to join Burnley as had no idea what he had let himself in for joining us.

I think the Club are holding back ready for the next big commemorative replica goalie shirt issue when they market the version that Butland is wearing when he eventually saves a penalty.

The Stein one I voted the Stein one myself as
A. It's Stein B. Smartest shirt on the selection of 4 by far.
I already have the 95/96 Broxap shirt so would prefer an older Carling one.
