The next home game at Vale Park looks to be safe then! They play in Burslem, England mate " I wonder if this is now the beginning of this sort of thing in other European countries?" (a quote from the original quote)
Thanks Fel. Unless things have changed significantly since the last time I was there, Burslem, England was located within Europe.

My boss has told me to standby and cover a weekends work in Thurrock the weekend of the Hull match, as a colleague returning rom Northern Italy may have to self quarantine. he gets the jolly, I may get the shitty end of the stick, the work in Italy is based around the work in Thurrock Confirmed Cunty bollocks has to self quarantine for 14 days, so I have to work the weekend and spend 3 nights in Thurrock, and after getting the offer of 2 tickets for £5 each from Stoke as being a Potters Foundation member Luckily an underground HV cable blew near our site in Stevenage early this morning, and scuppered the work tomorrow so I've driven home this afternoon, luckily I couldn't get a ticket for the Luton game after it tomorrow. You're jinxed

They are next to the affected area of northern Italy though aren't they, probably a bit more focused. Possibly (although there's been no mention of that being the specific reason) and they've just cancelled High End in Munich, as well as MWC in Barcelona.

We are seeing this type of thing all over the world now, Disney and schools in Japan closing down, K league & J league suspended, cinemas in South Korea, even Iran has cancelled Friday prayers. I would imagine that as soon as we see community transmissions here the football will be the first to be suspended, followed by schools, cinemas and theatres etc. The next few months are going to be hard on a global scale.

Do we think it is being hyped up overly by the media etc or do we think that is a genuinely big worry? I mean, I read certain stats such as the common flu killing a hell of a lot more people per day in comparison to this Corona virus but then have we been told the exact fatalities of this new virus. We had all the same with ebola and sars was it? For example but is this a different monster and do we need to be worried?

As it has stopped production in China’s biggest steel mill and car production plants, Maersk shipping and Air France KLM have docked and grounded planes set to leave China with freight. Holidays are being cancelled industry is grinding to a halt world wide, stop me if I’m wrong but JCB are on a four day week I think. Imagine the carbon footprint change this has made in the past month 😉

They'll not only make billions on the stock market but will come up with the vaccine that every country in the world will pay through the nose for. Culling the old also saves shitloads in pension/health costs. Culling the poor in the Middle East and Africa gives easier access to resources and reduces immigration issues. As usual, it'll be the rich that get through this best and will no doubt come across as the saviours of mankind.

Absolutely no screening of any kind at the airport. Milan were screening incoming passengers.

Every cloud has a silver lining. It appears that the economic slow down in China has contributed to a significant reduction in pollution. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-51691967A similar thing happened in the UK when the economic turn down in the 70s due to the oil crisis, assisted by industrial disputes, lead to a significant improvement in many of the UK rivers that flowed through industrial areas.
