well that's me just coming out of it, not bad enough to be hospitalised but knocks you for a while, then comes back for a 2nd wave, been in isolation for 6 days now, and getting bored, just when I thought there'd be freedom, another 3 weeks  Were you tested formally and diagnosed as it will be interesting to hear the experience of a confirmed case. If you were, does that make you a super user with potentially increased immunity now you have endured it? Again I’m interested as I had read bits about super users being re introduced into care and nursing roles as they can’t pass it on and are unlikely to be re infected....could be rubbish of course. |

Ok mate. Ta. I just hadn't seen the TV one before. There's also a MSN and appleID password confirmation one going around - I assume once they have these they can sign you up to 'in purchase' apps and then charge a shed load to your account. I always worry about my parents falling for these - especially the TV and apple ones - they are quite convincing, not that my dad has the faintest idea of what appleID is anyway... That's why I posted it mate. I had my mum and dad in mind. I would imagine everyone on here is tech savvy enough not to fall for it but their parents might not. |

Someone else said higher up that we as a nation should draw up a list of companies we all boycott once this is over - Wetherspoons top of the list. I've been trying to boycott them for at least 3 years. But it's so damn cheap and my tight arsed ways win over my morals. They've clearly been a scummy company for a while. We had one at work today saying that a competitors delivery vehicle had been intercepted and stopped from doing his delivery by enforcement officers saying that he should be at home. It is complete and utter bullshit and the type of Chinese whisper that helps no-one. |

Then they need to more clearly define what is common sense because that is definitely not getting through. Everybody claims that they know what it means but it is clear that there are many different interpretations. No time for ambiguity tbh. |

I haven't had a t.v license for years and sent the last one packing, they have not knocked on since And on that subject, talking of scum of the earth I had an email this morning purporting to be from the TV Licensing authority telling me that my latest direct debit had failed to go through and that my TV Licence expired today. To rectify this I needed to click a link and re enter my bank details. Of course I did. The email was from a Belgian broadband provider. Clearly Phishing. Just give a heads up to all your elderly and vulnerable family and friends that these unscrupulous bastards will intensify their efforts during a time of stress and distraction to rip the arse out of every crisis. Beware of people trying to scam you in normal circumstances anyway, and in addition things will likely start to get worse in the current crisis, as now people might actually be expecting to receive official Government emails and texts, and could open anything new or official looking. These TV Licencing messages, are very common. As are mails saying that you have an HMRC tax refund. They will be seeking "confirmation" of your bank details. IGNORE THESE MESSAGES. If these messages are from authentic sources they will almost always contact you by letter and will not try to text or call you direct, like the Banks will also tell you. Look at the senders email address. If it looks strange and is from something other than a Gov.Uk.Org address it is suspicious. THINK SENSIBLE SECURITY ALWAYS. AND DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY CLICK ON RECEIVED MESSAGES THAT YOU ARE NOT EXPECTING. It is easy to check things like bank statements and you can see if you have not paid standing orders etc. |

My business partner here in Somerset has an ex-wife and son living in Chelmsford. He's used to seeing his son every two weeks via a combination of train and then taking him back in the car on a Sunday. He's an absolutely great Dad and has had the difficult conversation that he won't see his lad anytime soon. With reference to the Gove pronouncement, parents who live close to each other may be able to sway this, but those who live a long way apart will be hit hard, but everyone's safety is paramount and I guess with Skype etc, at least contact is made a little more real. I feel for all faced with this conundrum.
