The govt. covered it up, absolutely. They didn't release or create it. They're also not communist as we've discussed many times, but I'm not going to get into that. Yes they are, I was sort of on your side of this particular debate, but you lose all credibility by defending the indefensible reality of this evil philosophy in practice. You may as well be defending Nazism. The Chinese government are vile, but they are not communist. That is not a defence of communism.

So the ruling Party in the PRC is not the Communist Party wow I bow to your superior knowledge If I call myself a professional footballer it doesn't make it true.

This countries path has been a messaging shambles. Maybe deliberately so. Its all set up for us to turn eachother as a consequence. Blame eachother. But the reality we were terribly prepared for an event like this and we've compounded it with catastrophically bad leadership. It's not the fucking numpty flower sellers fault they are carrying on and it's not the dozy arsed public's fault they are wandering along. Its spineless leadership from the start. I'd have a guess that youd be one of the first to demand your right to freedom if the government took that path 🙄cant please everyone whatever they do That's some guesswork. Its almost like it's totally meaningless and unsubsubstatiated.

Im sure there are plenty of other people and topics you know literally 0 about that you could pass your judgement on but I'm flattered you shone your ignorance spotlight on me. Truly. There is a post earlier in this thread where I stated I had called my parents to instruct them not to leave the house because Johnson had at that point had failed to. I think London should have been locked down days ago. As it is my landlord has just come round to move things in the garden so scaffolding can be put up tomorrow to get the outside painted. I haven't gone off at him. It's not his fault the messaging has been such nebulous bollocks.

I reckon that is conservative also. It's exactly the reason why this season should be knocked on the head straight away. No questions asked. Or are we going to see footballers playing games behind closed doors with masks on, referees and coaching staff with masks on and all support staff with masks on? Get it cancelled and call it all off for the foreseeable future. Or...put it on hold, cancel 2020/2021 and only when it is completely safe to do so, finish this season. There's about 10 rounds left of most of the leagues so even if the all-clear doesn't come until next February, it'd leave time to finish 'this' season before summer 2021.

My son in Chester says that the Aldi near him is absolutely choc a bloc around the clock, moreso than in normal times. With the best will in the world I can't see how isolation will work whilst people shop in droves....even though we have to try

Just had a letter put through the door
Giving a couples name and address and that they are setting up a street covid 19 community support group
As they quote there is several older / vulnerable people in the street
They then mention that not everyone has Facebook so if your old or vulnerable and you require support or assistance they give there home phone number and if there not there they will get back to you
For everybody that it has brought the worst out off There are good people also

It is estimated that the Great British Public now has in excess of a Billion Pounds worth of Groceries In their cupboards and draws.
Let’s hope that the idiots NOW STOP AT HOME and EAT the bloody stuff. We can then hopefully start to return to normal.

Maybe Boris could introduce a 48 hr lockdown just to show the thickos that this is serious. Stay indoors or else this is what you are going to get I don’t get what they aren’t getting though? It’s all there laid out. You don’t have to be Einstein. I think that as a nation we have dumbed down so much and spoon fed generations with a reliance on others to do things for them thereby creating a zombie culture where you follow the herd (no play on words intended). Add this to an attitude where something going wrong is always someone else’s fault and never your own and you can easily see why the advice is being ignored. Sadly, people who have taken the advice on board and been sensible will still be taken by the virus in part thanks to the selfish twats out there.

I'm just reflecting on what a simple, happy childhood I had on a council estate in Fegg Hayes. Not much money but we were really all were " in it to together", perhaps didn't know any better. As long as someone had a football, coats for goalposts. Mow Cop ventures, Knypersley, Bonfire night and Christmas. Then in the teens , never ending visits to the pubs. My son is 25....he's had massive debt, uncertain future, lack of meaningful job opportunities, armageddon through climate change, five years to save the planet, supposed to be a snowflake( though he isn't) and now potential armageddon ( of one sort or another) through a virus, one month to sort it out....and has been told that his generation have never had it so good....ever likely there is an increase in mental illness amongst the young. Still at least the young have not been called upon to fight a war from which they personally stood to gain very little. What's it all about? It's widely accepted that young people are to blame for all society's ills. They say that this was started by some Chinese dude eating an infected bat? More likely some entitled millennial snowflake prick eating a avocado that's been up the arse of some kind of non-gendered LGBT cunt (who's definitely also an immigrant).

What are the chances this story confirms exactly what you thought anyway, I read the story the scientists say do this they do this, the scientists said we need to change and do this and thats what they have done. But yeah crack on anyway.
