It seems pretty inevitable that - for a period at least - many countries will want evidence of vaccination before allowing you to visit (no different to Yellow Fever for some countries now) - and in that respect if the best way to demonstrate you've had a vaccination is one of these certificates then I'll want one. If you have to show them in order to renew your season ticket at the BET365 then that is a completely different matter altogether. Yes I agree, vaccination records/passports are pretty common all over the world for various things so given Covid is affecting the majority of countries it does make sense for travel. Perhaps in the spirit of fairness and equality I imagine there will be challenges from those who either can't have or choose not to have the Covid jab. What would that be? My guess is mandatory testing and/or quarantine like we have now. As you say having to use one for day to day activity then that's a dangerous and divisive road to go down. I guess any latitude would be up to the country in question. We've just made a huge song and dance in this country about controlling our own borders with our own rules so we can't really be too critical about what other countries now choose to do.

That interview with Matt Hancock re school meals is the reason I have no time whatsoever for Politicians of any party. They know they have made the wrong choice or decision and refuse to acknowledge they made the wrong choice. Matt Hancock is as slimy as they get and is up there with Gove when it it comes to people I totally loathe. Vile person.

That clip in the shop in the USA is shocking...the young girl looks terrified. It would have taken all my self control to have not lost it big time with the foul mouthed bully.

Absolutely If a country decides to not let anyone in who hasn't had the vaccine then that's their choice. No doubt we will be 6 months late to that particular party deciding how people can get into the UK with or without vaccine

You have a source showing vaccinated people spread it just as well as the unvaccinated? I didn't say just as well, I said it doesn't stop you catching or transmitting. Its on both the government and the NHS website saying just that. Can you send me the link? I checked the NHS vaccine page and [UURL=https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/regulatory-approval-of-pfizer-biontech-vaccine-for-covid-19/information-for-uk-recipients-on-pfizerbiontech-covid-19-vaccine]the Pfizer/BioNTech info page[/URL]. I can't find it and I don't think they know whether it affects catching & transmitting yet, they're just playing it safe. But I know they're checking for that and new data is always coming in so I could totally be behind the times. As of 22 December you could "possibly" spread it after being vaccinated. I'm crossing my fingers that it stops or slows down spread because it would be pretty shitty otherwise. I want to get back in the pub asap tbh.

Sounds like her husband/partner has died of covid then if it sounds like what she's shouting, is it from the USA? I assume it is. Mask wearing over there has become very divisive. The republicans refused to wear masks in the safe room members of congress were taken to in last weeks events and now theres lots of positive tests. Edit - there are as many, if not more, clips of people screaming at people for wearing masks or being asked to wear masks as there are the other way around. A few beatings and murders ( 1, 2, 3, probably more) by the anti-maskers too. As usual the handful of extremist dickheads get far more news than the people who do the right thing though, so that messes up how we see everything.

Not sure what's happening with quote function.

The question I'd like to ask here is why on earth did the jogger stop for a Covid Marshall? "Come on guys, just put up with it for a bit longer" they said. "It won't last forever, lets get this virus down" they said. The worst thing is, it's almost certainly tax payers money being used to pay these marshals. Literally unbelievable.

Remember those charges about Piers Morgan breaking COVID rules by flying to The West Indies for a holiday over Xmas.
Well he’s fessed up - well, to going there. But he reckons it was all kosher...
Except... it wasn’t.
But then again, he’s a colossal twat. We didn’t need this story to know that.

The worst actual day was April 8th 2020 where 1,072 died. The worst lately has been January 7th Where 847 died (this will increase slightly due to the lag)

Here is some quick maths Let's say If 207k per day is the best we can muster, by their target date we would be a grand total of around 4.6m people short. Even if they hit their daily target tomorrow, they would need to do an extra 13k or so vaccinations per day to catch up

How long before Mr Hancock announces they are pushing back the review into March because they have fallen behind? Even good old Gav is starting to let slip schools may not return after Feb half term. I think half term was used as a sweetner to get the public to accept the lockdown terms. It was never going to be that short. Drives me mad that politicians can't stick to a single thing they say. If most of us acted like this at work we all know where we would be..
