Further to my last post I thought this was interesting.
#1 No region of the UK has ever had as much weekly testing figure as high as the last data for London or the South East region. Even the North West never came close during the Liverpool mass tests.
Here are the peak positivity numbers from testing for each region since 2nd wave, with date, test numbers and peak positivity.
East Mids 11-11-2020 146,437 12.2%
East of England 12-12-2020 205,938 7.8%
London 14-12-2020 306,077 12.8%
South East 14-12-20 318,477 9%
North East 11-11-2020 86,877 13.9%
North West 03-11-2020 232,062 14.3%
South West 14-11-2020 168,204 7.1%
West Midlands 14-11-2020 190,130 12.6%
Yorkshire and Humber 03-11-2020 164,424 16.1%
This seems to indicate to me that they aren't going through anything different than the rest of us have already and they've tested the arse off it in recent weeks. I fully expect that today those test numbers must be even bigger in the coming days.

I'll ask again just for clarity then. If I am in london I simply need to travel tonight and I can stay away from home overnight? I've called my hotel and they seem to think it's not possible..I think it very much is. No you can't, tier 4 restrictions begin at midnight tonight. I'm glad I'm not living down there anymore. It can be a lonely place as a youngster even at the best of times. Christmas in a one windowed Bermondsey bedsit would have me thinking some pretty dark thoughts after a few shandies. There will be an armada of parents getting ready to drive down to pick up their kids this week.

30 critical care beds for an area covering almost 500,000 people (Stoke, Newcastle and Stafford) plus the hospital is taking patients from North Wales. Not hard to see where the problem lies is it?

Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 Article 13. (1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state. (2) Everyone has the right to leave any country, including his own, and to return to his country. Maybe if the labour government was capable of running a raffle they might of been able to look after there own patients Thus leaving the north staffs with breathing room

Stoke on Trent voted for the clown to be PM. Worst PM in history messes up handling the pandemic and forgot to mention the oven he was using for his Brexit deal was the one from the crem... I didn't vote for him, and don't particularly like the guy. But as for your hyperbolic claim of "worst PM in history", I suggest you go and read a book or two - perhaps start by reading up on Frederick North.

Obviously not but that's the reason we should have locked down much earlier so we wouldn't have got into this situation and people could have enjoyed Xmas with their families. I said this would happen but all I got was shit for it and a lot of it from yourself.

People caught flouting the rules should be exempt from treatment if they’re unlucky enough to need it.

The one that failed that badly it ended in Welsh cases actually increasing during that period?

Ah, even in the midst of another expose of this government’s incompetence, those who voted Tory instead of Labour need to convince themselves we would have been worse off under Corbyn. Let me tell you, hundreds more elderly people would still be alive today if Jezza had made it to No 10. But you reap what you sow. Holy bollocks mate, that is some revisionist shit - Corby made himself totally unelectable - this bunch of bastards virtually ran unopposed. You keep telling yourself that.

Good job the MPs broke up for Christmas & fucked off out of London earlier this week. Let's not forget they also get special treatment on return from abroad. All nicely timed for these cunts to clink glasses abroad and celebrate their pharma payouts.
