Starmers job is to build a platform for 2024 - not bail you out because you chose to vote for a bunch of blustering bellends and now wish you hadn't. It’s not bailing out the government and not “us” either But if you’ve got no opposition to what government do. No checks and balance then how can he build a platform for 2024 Is Boris doing the right thing over the virus? Not 100% probably not even 50% but Starmer just nods his head and allows Boris to continue so you could argue he’s complicit They have an 80 seat majority, which people like you enabled. Own the shit that you voted for.

Not Starmer Not Starkiller not anyone else as an answer to this bloody thing. We go from some who want to ignore it and just go about everything as normal and let deaths mount up To others who suggest a complete lockdown with everyone staying inside for a month. The best minds in the world (and on the Oatcake) are looking for the right answers but there sure as hell isnt any easy ones

If you were South Korean life would be pretty much back to normal. So it’s nonsensical to say “what else could they have done” Three words.......track, trace and test.

Most people voted for the best off two options People knew the kind of PM the were voting in. They made their decision and they have to decide whether it was the right one. All this pandemic is done is accelerate Johnson being found out......

So don't whine and try to blame the opposition for when the government you voted for turns out to do stuff you don't like! Amazing how it's always someone else's fault for these people!

Captain hindsight You think it’s hindsight that the PM has been found out to be a bone idle charlatan? You’ve been in a coma for 15 years and didn’t read any of the accounts of people who have worked with him previously I take it?

Own the shit that you voted for. Unbelievable how many people fail to grasp this concept. You need 40 Conservative MP's to vote against their own Government, and count on all other parties supporting your bill and or/amendment to have any chance of impacting change.

The one that 80% of this thread are terrified of. That or, as I suspect, a political point scoring game by over opinionated weasels.

Well now it is - you got what you wanted - suck it up.

I said that to a couple mates on Monday, I wouldn't be surprised. I know for a fact that the area's biggest employers are already planning for a xmas lockdown.Staff already working hours in advance to have longer off at xmas due to expected supply problems. The City Council, Bet 365 and The NHS? I hope The NHS doesn't shut down or else we're fucked.

If that was a German cruise ship they would be re-tested 3 more times to make absolutely sure they were carrying a deadly disease before scaring the population of Cornwall.

All you can do is console yourself that you didn’t personally vote for these wasters and get on with your life...... Because his party lost? Its all over. Every single online article is shouted down by the very vocal minority. That's why it pushed a lot of labour voters to the tories. That and the complete weapon they had in charge. Don't worry I will. There's not one decent political party out there.

Delivery and warehouse businesses, of which we have a huge amount of large employees locally are expecting more work than they can handle. Add Brexit deadline in December to that and lots of those supply chain businesses are expecting an almighty workload.
