Just thought I’d let people know if they didn’t. Been three pubs in Hartshill tonight and the strictness of entry is tenfold compared to when they first opened on July 4th. You simply won’t be allowed in without downloading NHS track and trace app, you can’t go to the bar and masks must be worn when arriving or leaving tables for toilet or smoke. I walked into a pub and I’d taken my mask down by mistake once inside to be met with a volley of abuse by a local old slag, landlord gave me and my three friends a free pint as an apology, every cloud and all that. I guess my point is, it’s so easy to let your guard down after a couple of pints I would recommend shutting pubs again for a bit. Although I don’t believe it’s the biggest cause of transmission I certainly think its where people are most vulnerable to rule breaking

The media, and twats like Morgan, are fully complicit in this crime against humanity. I struggle to fathom your understanding or point on this. This isn’t a one country pandemic, this is a pandemic that is affecting the whole globe. The world can’t be complicit in a conspiracy. If so, what are they trying to achieve? Control? How? By wearing a mask in a super market? At the height of the disease, it was proven by the death rate, that this disease was killing people way above flu levels. And now, the world is seeing a second wave, soon to return to these ghastly death rates. I can understand the debate on how we should handle this disease. Herd immunity versus the current approach, which has obvious ramifications for the economy. What I don’t get, is what your point is , in what you are trying to get across? Conspiracy? New world order? Revolution? I’m intrigued.

Even if every stat is true, it would level 2 out of 5, and have a look at what measures are required for level 2. Nowhere near this destruction and medical neglect which is killing tens of thousands. That is enough to question. The agenda is clearly not about controlling a virus.

It is a pandemic, the infection rate is way above a normal flu. I agree, there has been medical neglect. I have unfortunately witnessed this firsthand, when my mother in law died of cancer in May. I still have questions about her treatment because of this focus on Covid . What is the agenda?

In 6 months you will need to prove you are healthy to go about your normal life. It won't stop there either, imo, there is a real possibility of needing a vaccine before you are allowed to go on holiday. Students being confined to their quarters, MP's not ruling out that students won't be allowed home for Christmas. The blue vests peeping through people's letter boxes, the army on stand by to cover for police, the systematic separation of families, the carnage being caused to kids education aswell as missing out on a normal up bringing, all based around a test that is about as accurate as mystic fucking meg. If i wasn't so fearful of what is unfolding before my eyes i would be pissing myself laughing at this.

I just wonder why the rise in positive testing has not equated with the reopening of schools.
Surely that is a massive contributor. Its been 3 weeks now and this surge has coincided with this.
What did anyone expect?

My wife has been told by her employer ( Health Trust related) that she must have this app even though she is working exclusively from home and even though her phone cant download it. I'm pretty sure we both will have to have the vaccine for our jobs. Both of us have agreed we will not have a vaccine. I would not trust it. We are preparing for early redundancy.

What did anyone expect? It has, mate. Latest figures are 45% care homes , 21%schools, 18% workplace I work in hospitality, where we supply and invest as a business. This sector equates to 5% of transmissions. I am now back on furlough. The day after Johnson announced the 10.00pm closing time, our orders were cancelled or cut by around two thirds. The announcement has been devastating for the industry, with no science to back his decision. It was an easy target, and will have no effect on transmissions, if anything, it will make it worse, with people leaving at the same time, and I would think, many going to other houses to continue the night. It’s not about closing an hour earlier. It’s about being forced to close at 10. Many bars in city centres stay open after 11, with the hours between 9-12, being the most busiest and profitable time for them.Closing at 10 for restaurants, means that they are limited to one sitting a night, compared to 2 or three. It’s already had a devastating impact, and I fear for the future.

They know all your movements, where you spend your time, which shops you go to, wouldn't surprise me if it "intercepts" other info in your phone. Outcome is the government have control of a multi billion pound information database that they can sell to multiple industries to exploit. Throughout July and August, new cases and hospital admissions continued to plummet even though pubs and restaurants had reopened. Schools reopened at the beginning of September and now the figures are going through the roof but it's hospitality getting penalised for it. I know of a massive cocktail bar in London which does the vast majority of it's trade between 11pm and 3am. They've been closed for the last few weeks, spending thousands on having a huge Covid-safe refurb, their opening night was on Wednesday, they've had one night open and are now back closed, almost certain to go bust because they'll get no support at the end of next month because the government have MADE them no longer 'viable'.
