I seem to struggle now just as I think I'm getting back to the fitness before, a week last Sunday I ran a half marathon distance and was wheezy at the end of it (i'd run the same the week before no affects) I only went out of the house last week for a haircut, didn't even have another run or a daily walk until Saturday, just felt drained and like a cold virus again, hoping it's hay fever (which I've never had before) or something, but it's happening every 2 or 3 weeks.

It doesn't have to be Corona a 2nd time, or remains of the 1st time. There are other bacteria and viruses floating around as well. I believe they have been held back by the stronger Corona shit, at least that's what I've heard. Now it's time for some of them to enter the scene probably. Or an allergy. Take it step by step. Hopefully you'll be 100% recovered!

When you see the pictures from Tokyo and Los Angeles who were smog free on certain days during lockdown then I would say listen to your health secretary Boris and the top 200 scientists in the world There are literally millions of people who are travelling when they don't need to - stay off the feckin roads and leave them to the people that have to use them - this is the 21st feckin century - let us move into it. We need to move away from people taking their 2 hour journey to work in their 3 litre 4x4 just to login to a computer when there is just no need - we also need to promote electric cars with urgency - the new slogan should be stay at home if you can and save your children's/grand children's lives and unless you are a farmer then please shove your ignorant 4x4 up your arse I quite agree but it is a difficult problem. I've said for years that so many people just don't need to spend 45 minutes every morning and evening commuting back and forth to work in an office or other environment where all we're doing is using a pc and having meetings - it's just not necessary. Having said that, it's also true that so many town centre shops and businesses completely rely on office and other worker's trade to keep going. Take that away and they really struggle. The last few months have also shown the utter idiocy of pushing ahead with HS2. Over £100bn (and rising) projected to have been spent (wasted) by the time it's delivered for what? A population that has, quite rightly, embraced remote working, video conferencing and the like, rendering the need to actually move people around the country pointless. Madness, I really don't get why they don't cancel it - Johnson would rise in popularity massively overnight, and save a fortune at a time when we absolutely need it. Off-topic I realise but this is a good step in the right direction too... www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-53392949

I'm sure I read somewhere recently that an outbreak is actually counted if there are 2 or more cases in a particular place so, yes, I can believe it.

What and piss off those Tory donors in the construction industry that put him into No 10? That's not going to happen is it? Only Boris would open everything up and then make wearing a mask law afterwards, he's a dick. Shops should make this law themselves along with every indoor business and stop waiting for the idiot.
Every time I have been shopping there are hardly anyone wearing a mask, and no staff wearing them. It's about time some proper action was taken, it's obvious wearing a mask is effective.

Not too much this week mate, been up to my eyeballs in designing risk assessments ahead of us reopening to more staff. I have been keeping an eye on the T-Cell/herd immunity discussion currently ongoing and hopefully will be able to piece some stuff together on it and what it means and doesn’t mean. Assuming I don’t get another 5,000 forms dropped in my lap 😂😂

In w/c 15th June, an average of 134 people a day were dying. Last week that number was 85. The re-opening has, so far, not had any negative impacts on the number of cases or deaths. Leave people be.

Joke of a Government with an even bigger joker in charge of their media communications and announcements. This ambiguity and nonsense is now seeping into the general industrial and commercial world. Bosses dont know if they're drilled, bored or countersunk. Excuse the engineering parlance...

This virus is very nasty, I don't think it's wise to be complacent. It has apparently mutated to become more infectious too and it was already capable of escalating quickly. With so little known about it don't you think it's wise to be cautious? It's not just about deaths either, this virus can leave people with serious health conditions which they will have for the rest of their lives. It's even being said people suffering mild conditions are being left with permanent damage. I don't think chronic multiple organ damage is something people should accept just because people can't be bothered to wear a mask. The number of cases will be much higher than those reported too. If people want life to become as close to normal much quicker then surely it's best to take the necessary precautions now and hope for medicines and vaccines to help fight the virus in the future. There seems to be a lot of an I'm alright Jack attitude going around, everything is opened up so it's all but gone now. Take the precautions and drive this virus down to close to zero seems pretty sensible to me.

But the instruction has got be mandatory in shops and workplaces with no exceptions. Until the end of September earliest. If we are goinv to do it then do it properly.

The reason we had ZERO deaths in New York on Saturday after a peak of ~900/day in April? Masks worn by the majority of the populous has massively impacted the spread.
Yet some think it should be optional, wait for a government mandate etc,.. so sad, more people will die or become sick due to willful ignorance.

Also add all death cases or injured, disabled or sick for life, due to a lack of medical treatment in time because Corona is sucking up staff resources. Probably these cases are just as many. +200.000 canceled operations this year only, in little Sweden.

Mandatory face coverings In shops is a massive infringement on our civil liberties
Creates lots of problems.
Supermarkets etc I get but what about a local village store that doubles as a cafe? Nipping into a shop for one item when out walking cycling etc
Yet so many lockdown rules have been slowly been discarded as we try and get normality are far worse than shops

I haven’t been able to see my mum since March, my kids have been kept pretty much in the house bar exercise etc for pretty much the same period. I’ve complied with the lockdown. I’m staying away from pubs and restaurants. I haven’t really been socialising around peoples houses I’ve respect the social distancing at the supermarket. So now after 5 months they make masks compulsory. That is bollocks

Bizarre really.
We were told masks were 'swings and roundabouts' in the benefits stakes when Covid was cleaning out 1,200 people a day, now it is 14 deaths a day they are suddenly mandatory.
It may well be the right thing to do but you can't escape the thought 'horse, gate, bolted' can you?
