Anthony Joshua will want nothing to do with Fury on that showing Nobody is going to want to go anywhere near him. He's arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time. if he beats joshua theres no doubt he's the best of his generation, he'll have beaten klitschko, wilder and joshua... not sure about greatest of all time but certainly up there with the best of them. He took a right hand in the opening round but completely nullified it by leaning back and turning his head to the right, this is an unbelievable skill, you're talking split second reactions, just an unbelievably gifted technical boxer and he can brawl as well, he is the total package, i now think he goes into the joshua fight as a big favourite, he might clown joshua and make him look ridiculous! Im hoping they can scrap the joshua/Pulev fight and make Joshua/Fury for the summer at wembley, it would be an absolutely bonkers event, probably the biggest sporting event since 66 in the UK ? it would be massive and now is the perfect time to do it.

I fear you’re right, I just hope they make it in the UK, it would be a mega event and a massive boost to british boxing, the PPV numbers would be huge, it would definitely be a cross over fight, people who don’t usually watch boxing would be interested, who wouldn’t want to see this fight ? I’m sure they could make tens of millions each even if it was in the uk and not Saudi Arabia but they have to make it now, I wouldn’t risk putting Joshua in with pulev, could be another Ruiz type banana skin, pulev is no mug.

Both men would destroy the integrity of the fight if it wasn’t in the UK.

Where does Dillian Whyte fit into it all now?
I really like Whyte and hope he gets a chance but I want to see Fury mop Joshua up and Joshua v Wilder.

Wilders corner should think about withdrawing him. The damage could be serious About 5 seconds after I posted this they threw the towel in. One conclusion to be drawn..... the Wilder camp read the Oatcake message board! 😁😁😀😀🤪🤪🤣

Both men would destroy the integrity of the fight if it wasn’t in the UK. Absolutely. And (more importantly) Warren and Hearn know it too. It'll be the biggest sporting event in this country since 1966 and it will definitely happen in the UK. Warren might be making noises about Saudi Arabia but that's just to maximise the income from staging it here. Neither promoter would be forgiven for staging it elsewhere.

I did not see it live and already knew the result, but I was surprised that they let him come out for the sixth. The world could she Wilder was seriously injured. I concluded that as a casual boxing viewer that I simply did not have the knowledge to make such a judgement. I look at it now and simply see greed and win at almost any cost. Is it common to burst an ear drum? Is it common practice to continue a fight with bleeding from the ear?

Spurs or millennium would be a better atmosphere but Wembley will make more gate If I was spurs I’d be doing everything to get it there are a show piece for the ground Fury stock is so high in USA right now a uk fight may hurt ppv over there due to the time difference though. Always a factor

If they gave the bogs a bit of a wash n brush up, repaint the yellow lines on the steps and perhaps get a couple of big oatcake stands set up to take care of the catering the fight could be a real feather in the cap for Burslem. Not just Burslem though, the economic benefits could be felt as far away as Tunstall & Cobridge too.

I thought the same, from my limited medical knowledge I'd have thought that as soon as any bleeding from the ear is apparent any fight should be stopped, I was amazed they let him carry on. He also looked slightly concussed for the last 3 or 4 rounds for me, looked like he was on auto pilot.

I burst an ear drum playing Hurling once and carried on. Clash of heads, probably wasn't a good idea as suffer from tinnitus at times now. It can cause vertigo though which isn't helpful during a boxing match obviously. As far as the fight is concerned was really poor. Not a great heavyweight around for me at the moment, in fact the standard of boxing in general a bit of a low . Tyson Fury has never impressed me.

Gobsmacked he wants the rematch.
Hard enough to beat Fury when you hold the belts and it is up to him to take them from you.
After that beating, adding to the fact Firy will go in as the champ?
5 rounds max.

I would say maybe, in his prime, Kiltshcko the far superior boxer. The greatest of all time is absolute nonsense.

How the fuck is dressing like a gay Power Ranger a tribute to black people? How can a 200+lb boxing athlete struggle to walk 300 yards maximum carrying an extra 40lb? Why did he not work this out at the fitting, of which he 'only' had one the night before? If only his defence in the ring had been this complicated he might have gone a few more rounds! Dosser!

The Black Panther, Funkadelic... But if he thinks blaming his walk outfit will address his shortcomings he is massively deluded. He’s been a bit of a one trick pony & that two armed guard he used to defend his head was woefully inadequate. Fury hooked around it & bust his ear.
