How the fuck is dressing like a gay Power Ranger a tribute to black people? How can a 200+lb boxing athlete struggle to walk 300 yards maximum carrying an extra 40lb? Why did he not work this out at the fitting, of which he 'only' had one the night before? If only his defence in the ring had been this complicated he might have gone a few more rounds! Dosser! The Black Panther, Funkadelic... But if he thinks blaming his walk outfit will address his shortcomings he is massively deluded. He’s been a bit of a one trick pony & that two armed guard he used to defend his head was woefully inadequate. Fury hooked around it & bust his ear. Seen some really good analysis of the fight: Wilder was always seen as a very untidy fighter, indeed he has very limited boxing and defensive skills and as Fury has said, he's a bully with a big right hand who can't cope on the back foot If the rematch is in autumn/winter that's not enough time for him to address these weaknesses

Wilder can opt for a massive payday with a pretty much career ending fight
Or he can let fury fight Joshua, have a warm up fight against say chisora or whyte and if he comes through that have the winner of aJ v fury and career back in track
Another loss against fury destroys his reputation. The wbc should not have allowed a rematch clause in it for wilder. A controversial draw that he really lost and a demolition job by fury means the third fight needs not to happen. Surely if wilder were to win then fury would want a best of three. FFS move on

Rematch clauses for fights that fans don't really want.
Compulsory mandatory challengers for belt-holders and fights that nobody wants.
It's a big part of why boxing is on its arse. They don't have this problem in MMA, which is why it's become more popular in America, the organisation just matches the most interesting fights without the politics.
Fury v Joshua to unify all of the belts is the only fight now. If a fucking rematch clause or a boring mandatory fight gets in the way of that happening next then boxing can go fuck itself.

I'd absolutely love it if Fury came to the ring wearing Wilders costume in the rematch

Wilder has come out with some absolute garbage since the fight hasn’t he. It’s embarrassing. Even after the first fight he was going on about Fury invoking some kind of gypsy voodoo to get up from the canvas.
It’s like his knockout record has made him so self-important he just can’t accept there’s someone out there who can withstand his power, so he has to grasp for other factors at play.

Can't be doing with this nonsense in boxing. I get the ring entrance to music etc but the dressing up and wrestling style pantomime stuff doesn't belong. Prince Naseem took was it 14 minutes one fight to get to the ring at a fight was at, then beat some a average fighter up in less time than his entrance. I always liked Mike Tyson's style, no fancy shorts or fannying about.

Superb! Summed up brilliantly More evidence against Wilder struggling with a 40lb costume: archive footage and actually promotes a 40lb weighted vest merchandise! In his own words: hoist by his own petard I tells ya

I think any sportsman who's been on the end of a tonking in his/her given sport employs coping mechanisms in the immediate aftermath of a metaphorical (or in this case a literal good hiding!) to protect their self-esteem or confidence, which seems imperative to elite level performance in most sports.
Many a time i've heard a player, athlete, manager etc during an interview say they are focusing on the positives of a performance so abject that i've been left contemplating which particular universe said person inhabits.
Wilder just seems to he indulging in an extreme case of this, with some super added mard-arsery thrown in for good measure.
The fact his corner threw the towel in suggests that he has some realists around him however, essentially abandoning the hope that even the puncher's chance he always carries in bouts was gone, such was the severity of the schooling he was receiving. They should unequivocally know that their man was bettered by a huge margin in every aspect of the fight.
Thomas Hearns notoriously had a leg massage before his legendary bout with Haggler, which left him feeling 'leggy' hence the tactics he adopted to try and finish the fight as early as possible because he knew he wasn't going the distance,it didn't work out ultimately, but the story didn't come to light immediately because Hearns knew how to conduct himself with some dignity in defeat, imho.

Spot on 👍👏 The worse thing about this is Wilser has not behaved with any dignity or decorum and certainly has not behaved like a true champion would

if he beats joshua t heres no doubt he's the best of his generation, he'll have beaten klitschko, wilder and joshua... not sure about greatest of all time but certainly up there with the best of them. He took a right hand in the opening round but completely nullified it by leaning back and turning his head to the right, this is an unbelievable skill, you're talking split second reactions, just an unbelievably gifted technical boxer and he can brawl as well, he is the total package, i now think he goes into the joshua fight as a big favourite, he might clown joshua and make him look ridiculous! Im hoping they can scrap the joshua/Pulev fight and make Joshua/Fury for the summer at wembley, it would be an absolutely bonkers event, probably the biggest sporting event since 66 in the UK ? it would be massive and now is the perfect time to do it. I would say maybe, in his prime, Kiltshcko the far superior boxer. The greatest of all time is absolute nonsense. Its all about opinions but Personally i would rank Fury above wladimir Klitschko, not only has he beat him, he has a much broader set of skills than Klitschko, Fury can fight on the inside or outside, he can switch to south paw, he has a better chin, he's more entertaining. Fury beat klitschko easily, Joshua, 2 years later, beat him only after coming through a major crisis.

Easy domination fighting David haye and other low calibre heavyweights.

Fury is contractually obliged to give wilder a 3rd fight but without it being in the contract it most certainly wouldn't be happening, they've done 24 rounds and fury has probably won 18-19 of them, he dominated wilder in the 2nd fight and had wilder not been pulled out i believe he would likely have been severely damaged, fury was starting to really tee off on him with free shots, his corner quite possibly saved his life.

Wilder's hubris got the better of him,he wore a similar outfit for his entrance to the Ortiz fight (admittedly less elaborate,) and i can't recall reading any reports of him saying it had a detrimental impact on his performance?
If there were you'd think he'd jettison the idea of dressing up for his entrance sharpish. It'd be interesting to see what the weight differential between the two outfits was,if any?
Ultimately Wilder didn't take Fury seriously enough, expecting to walk through anything 'pillow fists' could throw at him and flatten him at some juncture in the fight.

Fight week. Fury bigging up wilder to sell ppv but bar that one punch landing I can’t see anything different from the first two. Sooner wilder put to bed the better and Fury can move on to Uysk and the Britons

I'd be very worried the more over 20 stone Tyson comes in to this, no chance is the plan to be bigger for this, I don't buy that at all! There's lots of questions for me, like how much has Tyson's latest baby problems effected him, especially so close to the fight, it has to of halted his camp and drained him mentally. Sugar only linked up with him 5 weeks out, that can't be ideal. Has Wilder over trained? How will he handle the mental pain once he gets in the ring after getting beat up last time. He's 36/37 so he's not going to become this elite boxer, no matter how much smoke Malik blows up his arse. Lots to answer but I'm worried for Tyson.
