We owe these big time, they've taken the piss every time we've played them since relegation.

There was a period of time when we always seemed to play them at home on Boxing day. Proper shite matches too. The freezing nil nil was the worst game I've ever seen.

Watched them against Wigan (TV), and they were awfully lucky to get away with the 3 points. Not impressed by them at all, but for the first time I understood why Pearson is so important to them. His defensive work was really a MOM performance to me.

Really could do with a win tonight but Preston are always jammy w*nkers against us, so a draw could be acceptable

I'm not sure how accurate soccerway is on formations but in the last 15 games when a team has matched Preton’s favoured 4-2-3-1 with a 4-2-3-1 of their own they’ve only won one in 1 in 8 games.
Preston North End vs. Swansea City DrawBlackburn Rovers vs. Preston North End DrawPreston North End vs. Norwich City LossCardiff City vs. Preston North End DrawPreston North End vs. Luton Town Win Preston North End vs. West Bromwich Albion LossHull City vs. Preston North End Loss (4-0) Derby County vs. Preston North End Loss It seemed ok before that.
It doesn't prove anything but it's an interesting trend I hope we contribute to. Good omen - 451 - let's hope their win ratio is 1 in 9 after tonightđź‘Ť

So long as we give 100% for the full 90 minutes I'm okay with losing to a better side until Michael gets his type of players in.
Fingers crossed we'll give PNE a game.
Go on Stoke...

These players should be capable of performing against the top teams in the division. I agree with the sentiment though that a manager needs the luxury of calling a team his own to see what the manager is completely capable of. In saying that he's not doing too shabby with what he has at present

The way the offside rule is used now is ridiculous... We could have had 2 players injured then defending a ball to a player that was clearly offside because of his late the flag went up
