I'm no fan of Schofield in the slightest but I detest people who jump on a bandwagon claiming they know about everything. If you see a problem at the time, do something about it.
Cowards.

Remember seeing Soccer AM years ago when he seemed to be on every other month and came across as a right spoilt twat. He's using this as a vehicle to regain relevancy for me. No matter how he paints himself he has an element of complicity in covering up noncery as it was apparently an open secret.

Watching this show is a barometer for how low your life has sunk. Many average YouTubers get more viewers.
His groomery is hardly new news. It was known about years ago.
This overkill garbage story is perfect for keeping attention away from other stuff.

Cue the obligatory interview in The Scum and on BBC to be broadcast from 6am Friday. Predictable BUT he has the right to give his version of events no matter what anyone thinks of him and his alleged actions. It will go away and resurface in the media every now and again for the next few years on slow news days or when they get a photo of him looking disheveled carrying a plastic bag with a roll up glued to his bottom lip. And a woolly hat.

The saddest thing is while this dominates the daily news, the country is going to hell in a handcart.

The saddest thing is while this dominates the daily news, the country is going to hell in a handcart. Well, quite. It's shocking (but not remotely surprising) that such a non-story can receive so much attention. And self-evidently it will continue to run.

Trust the BBC and The Sun to give this prick a platform to perform. Include Sky all on the same day to hog breakfast news. Anyone think it's a spontaneous outpouring of remorse or a carefully orchestrated PR campaign timed to the minute with all the right soundbites? Homophobia, suicide, my girls, no future blah blah blah. All of these "celebs" and politicians are the same and the media just fawn and run the same bullshit.

Completely agree. Man that interview on BBC was hard to watch. He's clearly, by his own admission, very close to suicide.

The saddest thing is while this dominates the daily news, the country is going to hell in a handcart. Whilst you are right - here you have the most high profile ITV star. (Term used loosely) a person of significant influence potentially grooming a young impressionable kid into sex with the lure of tv work. It’s a massive story and will have massive consequences for schofield and ITV. This stinks like similar stories at the bbc There is a lot of sexual misconduct going on in parliament too. These cunts need stoning too I won’t be crying crocodile tears for Phillip Schofield. He may have no job but has the resources to lead a very comfortable life

So, to clarify, this whole story is still about a man knowing someone when that person was underage and then having sex with them as an ADULT?

No Knowing and grooming are not the same thing If he was groomed it's a serious issue Grooming isn’t illegal as an adult though, unless the person can be referred to as vulnerable. (So says my 30 second google searching on the morning dog walk 😂) So, if he didn’t touch him when he was not an adult (he may well have, I don’t know), where is the offence? He didn’t take anything from him as a child.

That's true, but that's no reason to feel sorry for him. He's lost his job because he lied to his employers and colleagues for years and got somebody a job under false pretences. He's rightly been fired, he now says he's being persecuted and has "lost everything". He's not the victim here, and has not lost everything. He's had very lucrative and exciting career for which he should be grateful and do us all a favour and retire quietly with his millions.

Have a slight bit of sympathy watching that BBC interview but also think it's quite distasteful to bring Caroline Flack's name into it too.
The problem with Phil is he has a history of lying. Lying to his wife, lying to his kids, lying to his co stars, lying about the queens casket, lying about this affair, keeping quiet when he found out his brother was involved in child abuse and keeping quiet/lying about that.
So it does make it very challenging to believe anything he says in his interview when he has such a long history of lying.
And it's all about how he feels, how he's lost everything, how his careers over.
Tbh I don't really give enough shits anymore tbh, it is what it is. I don't have sympathy for a compulsive liar though.
