Just out of interest does everyone else read these interviews with an Irish accent? I've learned to read without speaking the words out loud.

He's very keen to stress they've had to work hard on something

He's very keen to stress they've had to work hard on something Makes a change to working hard on nothing, which seems to have been an issue for the past three seasons. Working on something until it becomes second nature is key. Except golf. I have been playing golf for 40 years and still can't get the hang of it. Often times the primary audience of a press conference is the players more than the public. So he is doing this part to let the players know that their hard work is getting nticed and appreciated by the fans. Lack of appreciation is one of the main reasons people give up at work and look for another job, actually more so than money.

Hard work! Reminds me of that true to life movie 'Everest'. 'And why don't we talk about the ascent? Because it's mostly just pain. 1 pound down here is like 10 up there. It's going to be a tough week. But, it's going to be the best Saturday of your lives.'We need more of this, give me the team talk

1 pound down here is like 10 up there. That's what Fulham fans say when they travel up for the reverse fixture

He's stressed the difference was "the final third" in every interview. So, even with the prospect of Tyrese coming back, the loan we're holding out some small hope for must be another forward. Nothing else makes sense, whether it be an outside shot of Delap or someone else. He doesn't sound particularly hopeful though (He didn't sound too chuffed when Moose suggested Bursik stopped it being 8-0!)

Interesting interview
Shame there's no footage of the Old Trafford game last week - MON says our 4th goal was as good a goal as you'll see!

I really like Chester and much of that is because of these type of comments from behind the scenes.
From the comments of how he finished at Villa (playing through injury to get promotion) is there a better experienced professional to help guide the development of the new generation of centre halves coming through?

I think people made their minds up about him when he was on loan and chucked too many howlers in Last season he was highly consistent/very reliable/cut out the howlers Obviously Ostigard, Souttar, Wilmot is our best back three but Chester coming in on occasion is fine Batth can be very good but probably less so in a back three

www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p09smr4922:15 Sounds like they're still going to be very careful to ease Campbell back - and he twice mentioned that Sima was signed so they could put the least amount of pressure on Campbell's return they could
