I was quite excited when we took a chance on Rowett. Not a bad cv, was doing a good job at other clubs etc and seemed hungry. I was delighted with Jones, his hunger, his passion, his determination. Obviously both showed I know naff all So give me someone I don’t like.... as long as it’s not mick McCarthy. If it’s him I’ll throw my ticket in the bin ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/kwfoKwtHI0jglJZ4qZf6.gif) Joking apart I’m getting to the stage where I just no longer give a bloody shit.

Can’t understand the negativity towards TP - can any of us honestly trust anyone else to sort out this mess ? He’d be kicking ego’s into touch from the get-go and on just a seven month contract everyone’s a winner .... we all win !

I would go with one of the following for our next manager:
Freddie 'Parrot faced' Davies
Duncan Norvelle
Kenny Lynch
Stan Flashman
Sid Little
Paul Richardson
The little one from Musical youth
Geoff Capes
Jurgen Vandersen
Stu Francis Or Derek Griffiths from Playschool fame.
Any other sensible answers gratefully accepted!

1 TP Everyone else on the planet is an also ran. Yep, big Tone for me. Its not ideal granted but he is exactly the right man for the position we find ourselves. He can basically run the club as he did for ten years and those useless muppets upstairs can sit back and relax. I would like them to pay attention to exactly what he does this time and they might actually learn a thing or 2.

We had a slim chance of attracting the right man by acting at the end of last season when it was patently clear Jones was ill equipped for the job. At this point its too late and we will be shopping in the bargain basements as all decent shouts will look at our position and go - er, no way.
Anyway my calls recently have been Potter (when we appointed Lambert) and Hughton for now (but he is too smart to come now). Decision making at this club is atrocious.
Whats Jons mate down the pub think now ?

There is already a poll for this and Hughton is first choice followed by Pulis, which probably means......Hello again Mr.Pulis sort it all out and keep us up!
