1. Hughton 2. Neil 3. Moyes 4. Karanka 5. Stendl Very steady eddie choice that, although I would like Neil as first choice. Hughton and Moyes, I think, are un-achievable. Stendl must have gone through some sort of managerial process selection criteria, but it turned out to be as disastrous as Jones, so I will reserve judgement on that one. Karanka is very boring and will piss us off as he did with Forest fans. I appreciate that our choices are extremely limited, so its all about who can keep us up, first and foremost. The appointment might be unpopular, but hey who cares.

Yeah, Hughton, Moyes and Karanka wouldn’t be the most exciting by a long way but I think they’d stabilise us and be capable of something slightly more nuanced than the dinosaurs. Neil I’ve always rated and think he’d be a really good appointment. Think the assessment of Stendel is harsh, he did a great job getting Barnsley promoted and from the outside looking in the sacking seems harsh.

not Moyes. please not Moyes... We are capable of doing a sunderland without him. There is no doubt that he was a disaster with us. We'd been doing The Houdini Act for years by sacking a manager and getting the new manager bounce to keep us up. Moyes was appointed after Allardyce got the England job. He wasted £40,000,000 or so, finally sickening Ellis Short, told us we were in a relegation fight before a ball was kicked and was as good as his word except without the fight. Having said all of which I think he's probably the right man for you. He got the WHU job a few months after he left us and made a decent fist of it. I believe he'd keep you up this season and that's all that matters now.

Pulis till end of season with pearson as coach... That would strike fear in this poor squad then pearson to become manager with TP to step up as director of football in charge of recrutment and player DNA. Im sure not many of our current players would pass his test. And the Coates family money wouldnt have so easily been wasted.
