We really haven't been that bad. Performances have been about mid-table level for me. What about the defence?! I don't think our general defending, tactically, has been that bad bar a few poor games. Mostly we've defended well then pretty much thrown it in our own net.

The track record of appointing the right man of the powers that be is a bit of a worry. Maybe a new approach is needed, like going foreign.

QPR dreadful Charlton not a lot better Derby played well but defensively poor Preston woeful Leeds never in it after they scored Birmingham list to a very poor dude imo Bristol City started well but sending obviously changed the game Brentford went for a draw and nothing else Forest played really well until they scored then collapsed like a pack of cards As I’ve said fans are getting brainwashed by his constant insistence in interviews that we’ve played well when in reality we’ve had spells in games where we have but the majority of the time in my opinion it’s been poor. What’s even worse I don’t believe we’ve played many decent sides of yet QPR - poor Charlton - Dominated the game, should've won by 3 or 4. Derby - dominated the game, should've won by 3 or 4. Preston - drab, done in by 2 goalkeeping howlers, Leeds - they were the better side. Birmingham - drab, individual errors cost us again Bristol City - stoic and good performance with 10 men Brentford - defended very well and good value for draw, if a bit drab Forest - should've been 3 up at half time, good performance until their 3rd, gifted them 3 goals through individual errors. That gives me around 13 points we should be at from performances, in my opinion. Hence my view of mid-table based on performances. It isn't brainwashing if I watch the game and make my own decision on it. Note how many times you used the word "should've" in that post. We are now a fifth of the way through the season and we have two points, T-W-O points, seven points adrift of safety, our main striker only managed to score his first league goal last night and we've conceded two league goals in EIGHT of the nine games we've played. At one point does "should've" become just an excuse?

We have in many games been the best team between the boxes, but it's in the boxes where the games are decided. Unfortunately for us we haven't been good in any of the boxes in any game apart from Brentford away. That is the bitter truth and the reason why we are where we are. I really don't know how many goals we now have conceded at the far post, but it's really starting to be a bit comical. Jones seems unable to find a way to avoid it and really should have been sacked weks ago in my opinion.

I wonder if the Board genuinely believe that Jones can turn things round and dig us out of this mess and avoid relegation when his record shows no indication that this is possible ?
If they do then they are seriously deluded. If they don't then why the hell haven't they replaced him ?

However, the two penalty areas have been disaster zones for us in that time and that failing is showing no sign of improvement.

But for me, there has been enough there in our performances for him to at least get the Huddersfield game. A new boss would change nothing in 2 days, and if we win, it would be a huge, huge boost to our main issue this season, confidence.

They should be ignored completely? I know we have 2 points, and I understand why he's under pressure. I'm just saying that I, personally am of the opinion that he should not be sacked yet, because I, personally think that performances have generally been far better than results.

Nope, I wanted him out from February 2017. I defended him a bit up until we loaned out Bojan, then we started losing, then I wanted him out for Silva at the time I believe.

Defensively and positiionally we have been absolutely shambolic. For those reasons alone just should be gone. There is no way forward with this ideology. We of all clubs should know that success is built on solidifying the team and unifying the squad. That means discipline and structure leading to flare, not picking teams out of a hat. Never mind the team selection the transfer policy looks as bonkers as the rest of this shit show and guess who that is on this time??? Yep, Nathan Jones. No- way- forward. Only down

Very hard to believe that NJ has not been given the heave-ho.. in fact unbelievable for any club other than Stoke. No wonder my mate who's a dedicated Forest fan has been recently sympathetic regarding Stoke and is now referring to the club as a complete shambles. The owners have bought into the 'proper owners' tag that the media have given them to such an extent, it seems, that in their eagerness to prove this they have waited so long that they're struggling to find anyone decent who's prepared to take over. Shambolic doesnt really cover it, it's almost like deliberately taking ones hands off of the wheel when the car is in a skid and hoping for luck to save the day.

I think he, given time, has shown good enough performances to show he still has a chance. And I'd rather we went into administration than got another shithouse bumbling fat old bloke manager in.

Doesn't the fact that you believe we were the better side last night worry you, considering we lost yet again? For what it's worth, I dont think we were the better side. We started well but the Forest were on top for the last 20 minutes of the first half, then we came out in the second half like all our team had smoked a spliff each and didn't really get going again until it was far too late. We are a dreadful football team and "lacking confidence" isn't the only reason why we are where we are.

Are the Coates family becoming part of the problem too? This isn't meant to be provocative but of course they are part of the problem, they own the club and ultimate culpability lies with them. I am most amazed they are sticking with their CEO. He needs to go before Jones if you ask me.
