No, my right is to live where I see fit and to campaign in any way I see fit to democratically change the system. This extends to everyone with any political persuasion. Or perhaps you would tell every Socialist and Communist on this board to kindly fuck off to Cuba? Nope, thought not. Ther's an incredible irony abaht someone libertarian dedicatin sa much tahhm ta pontificatin abaht 'a society should be. Anyway, teaching is a vocation and the only thing I've ever really wanted to do. It so happens that public sector jobs are plentiful whereas private school jobs aren't. I'm happy in my current school. But again, real-world pragmatism takes precedent over ideology. I'm a teacher first, a member of society second, and a libertarian third. If that makes me a hypocrite I'll have to accept that, but as far as I see it, I still pay tax regardless of whether or not I get paid from tax, so the two cancel each other out. I can't afford to work for nothing and I've made a choice to do this job, so there we have it.

I'm sure a lot of them pay good money to charities of their own accord. Taxing them just means you are stealing their right to send money where they like and assuming moral superiority over them. I'm not a millionaire but I'd certainly pay more to charity if I wasn't robbed of so much, and at least then I could be happy that it's not going to dogshit causes. Don't think you can just rely on people to pay to charity if they want to. Denise Coates earned £250 million in one single year from gambling, in the same country where food bank use is the highest it has ever been. No-one needs that money, and no-one earns that much money. from an article on her " Coates gives much of her cash to good causes, such as the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Alzheimer’s Research UK" lets also add into that the work that the family does in supporting local charities and the work stoke city do as well. It all go's down to the ethos of the family and how they were brought up by peter , who believes in social justice and helping out your fellow man and not hording the money for themselves unlike a lot of multi millionaires of another political persuasion. the whole family do a lot for the community and the people of Stoke on Trent

And even greater to know there are teachers out there who genuinely want to do it. I didn't always have teachers who were overly enthusiastic about their vocation and that was unhelpful. On our Yorkshire friend at least, we can agree

Social justice my arse, she pays herself an exorbitant amount of money, made largely from harbouring addiction in poorer people, and cause she gives the odd tiny fraction of it to charity she's suddenly a philanthropist? Bollocks. No-one deserves to be a billionaire in the same country as people who cannot afford food.

Why is it a load of old bollocks? Is there any point in asking people whos minds are closed. This does look like a good approach - whether it works in practice is, of course, another thing. Good ideas are not the preserve of any party. Something both sides of the political divide would do well to remember.

I always knew you were a closet leaver I am certainly not a fan of big Europe mate or the bureaucracy. Its very complicated but I like freedom of movement,I like the ideas of no borders,I like to help out poorer nations and people. The issues the people have got are not due to the EU but from our incompetent government and vile unfair policies, who we have seen in all its glory the last three years having even more control and power is scary. Zero hours ,homelessness, poor wages ,no houses,NHS, etc etc the list is endless all down to our government .Not the EU.

No my problem as a fighter for freedom is I want a Democratically elected government of this country passing laws in this country that can only be challenged by the courts of this country A sovereign nation run by a sovereign parliament elected by the people of this country The laws of this country paramount that cannot be challenged by another court in another country
