A bit like losing the last election was a win I guess. I hope you keep winning You could try ITV's official twitter poll I guess Ah Twitter, the home of the left and Arsenal fans. Ask the average Twatter if Boris Johnson broke Ramseys leg and you get the same poll result

Maybe for balance I will get my Step Father to post a video saying what fabulous treatment he has had over the last 5 years for his bowel cancer, and how privileged he was to receive constant consultative care and follow ups, and how his life was saved by The NHS. He has been in remission now for 5 years. Isn’t that the entire point? That the NHS still can provide some of the best care available free at the point of use when the strain is relieved but the pressure is denying people that care? It’s an important distinction to draw that Jayne Rae was in for acute care for Oedema (a common side effect of breast cancer chemo) which had built up around its liver quickly, which is why she was in A and E and why given the waiting times in accident and emergency she didn’t get the urgent care she needed. That’s very different from the consultant care you describe with follow ups and a completely different branch of the NHS. The vast majority of our consultants are very good, but A and E woes are well established now.

The format, and the constant clapping made it almost unwatchable...... These things should stop. Have Andrew Neil grill each bloke for an hour with no live audience. It's not fucking X Factor.

I actually liked corbyns answer showed a bit of character and off the cuff humour johnsons showed the problem totally of the tory party that they the rich and should not be questioned and beyond reproach If Corbyn had said lets have a BBQ in Hyde Park and lynch the lot of em, with a wink! You would have made the exact same post. nope id have condemned him as the royals economically are an asset and there net worth to the country is huge

Have you Sheikh. Have you also read her case notes and looked at the care and treatment that she received before her sad death. [ She says she never saw a doctor and was left to die but she was so much in pain on her death bed that she managed to make a video complaining about the very staff who have treated her through out her illness. I watched my mother die in hospital, the last thing on her mind was politics and blaming the NHS.

They can't be poor and royal. Not many heads of state would want to go to a state dinner in a 2up 2 down on Hartshill. Is being rich ok for some but not for others now?

Of course the alternate point might be, that through everything, in her final hours she wanted to get this experience put out there in the hope no one else would have to suffer such disgusting treatment in the future.

A and E staff completely different from Oncology Staff and under completely different pressures (in other stories about she’s very complimentary about the treatment she got) Sorry to hear about your loss but she was well within her rights to record what had happened to her because no one should be treated that way but the A and E staff can barely hold back the tide. Making ignorant and insensitive comments such as “cancer doesn’t kill you in 8 hours” really don’t help your points.

I went to see Le Mans 65. Not a bad film. Better than the debate I’m sure. I suspect, as both parties wanted to avoid a fuck up, each will be happy with a draw... I think allied to personal ratings, Labour will see that as a pretty decent win. Based on the new losers are the winners you would be right

There's both individual positive and negative outcomes and more negative ones than there needs to be. She and many others do an awful lot of work they're not paid to do because there isn't the staff. There isn't even the overtime available. She isn't in a position where she can just walk out as people can die and there would naturally be less positive outcomes. I'm really happy your Dad had a positive outcome, but it is far from sun and roses in that area of the NHS.

Thus she was subject to the wait times of A and E and tragically passed before she received adequate treatment.

More lies and deception tonight from the tories
"The Conservative Party has been sharply criticised by a UK fact-checking agency after it rebranded one of its Twitter accounts.
The @cchqpress account - the Tory press office - was rebranded as “factcheckUK" on Tuesday.
The change happened during a live TV debate involving PM Boris Johnson and Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.
Twitter is yet to comment on the change, but told the BBC it was looking into it.
Fact-checking agency FullFact said in a statement: "It is inappropriate and misleading for the Conservative press office to rename their twitter account 'factcheckUK' during this debate.""

Corbyn has said tonight that she died after waiting 8 hours in a and e. It's quite obvious she didn't.,judging by the short film she made bigging up the Labour Party.
Like I said, my mother who went in hospital on Friday and was dead on monday(she was told on Saturday that she was about to die) didn't give two fucks about politics or people to blame. She was to scared of what was to come.
How dare that cunt corbyn use death to gain fucking votes.

One thing is for sure.
If this Conservative clan get into power this election our NHS will be systematically dismantled and privatised with big chunks under American ownership.
Think about it folks.

we'll have the NHS until it inevitably collapses under its own weight, it might bankrupt the country before it does though because neither party are seriously looking at alternative systems, and alternative doesn't necessarily mean full privatisation, there are other models that are much better than the current one, nobody is allowed to even mention it though.

I am sorry for this poor lady who has died at such a young age and it must be a horrifying time for her family. I do want to ask though as you suggest your good lady wife works in the NHS, does she recognise the picture being painted? Does she think her work place is like Beirut, are the corridors covered in blood with people lying dying? I am not trying to make a political point, it's just that whatever problems the NHS has that isn't the scene I have witnessed when I have been into hospitals. I don't spend everyday there though so an honest answer would be appreciated.
