As the saying goes, “ If you haven’t been a socialist by the time you are 20 years old, you don’t have a heart. If you are still a socialist by the time you are 30 years old, you don’t have a brain.” So it seems that we have either some quite young posters on here, or some not so bright ones. In the name of accuracy it was the serial liar and morally dubious Churchill who said that and he said Liberal not Socialist. Carry on..... In the name of accuracy it, apparently, was not the serial liar and morally dubious Churchill who said that after all. Not Churchill QuotesCarry on.....

She is a vile arrogant woman I’d go as far to say I dislike her more than I do Corbyn Mc and Abbott. For what’s it worth though I think it’s a great policy because the country won’t stomach it and it keeps them out of government. How can you say you have a great deal but campaign against it. Idiocy it was always going to be difficult for labour to have a brexit position that didn’t alienate a chunk of their support, however they’ve opted for a position that’s going to alienate both labour leave and remain voters and I can’t see many floating voters seeing this as attractive. I disagree. Labour should be for the working classes with policies that they hope the middle classes and above can jump on board. Blair changed it to a party for the middle classes hoping this would have a knock on effect for the labour working classes Labour should always have been the party for hard brexit tempered by a good deal from the EU

Apparently their support is dropping off a cliff candidates are getting overwhelmed with emails saying they would split the vote and end up with no brexit now not an issue, looks like Labour will be promising more free stuff to everyone......

I'd read on Friday there was a secret meeting going on this weekend/early today between tories and BXP, there was fear that tories could lose a few seats in the south because of the leave vote splitting and moderates going to the lib dems, which is still a possibility with Swinson's leave stance.

Farage is saying Boris' plan to go for a canada plus deal helped him make his mind up.

That's the Tories home safely with some sort of majority then. The question becomes how big? Has there been a more worthless political party than the Brexit Party. They've rallied Nige's disciples to believe that anything other than no deal is not Brexit, and in the space of a week Farage has declined to stand due to the party plummeting in the polls, and are now trying their hardest to win a majority for a party that will deliver a deal that they insist is not Brexit. Can they not change their name at least - the BRINO Party maybe? EDIT: In answer to my own question - I forgot about the Independent Group for Change. They were more pointless.

Farage. What a cnut! Doesn't agree with Boris' Brexit deal, but is now helping to get him to win. Two faced tweot. I voted leave, but I've now changed my mind. Do not trust these money obsessed men. The effing rich can look after themselves! The working classes will suffer again under these greedy gets! Horrible people! Rant over!

So Farage has basically given up on brexit, if it means that no Brexit Party candidate is standing for the moorlands then I wont bother casting a vote, I cant stomach Karen Bradley.

So...
So it's a Conservative Government with a smallish but workable majority.
With a very very soft Brexit.
Toss-pot Farage couldn't even go through with it at the end of the day.

The tories and The brexit Party join forces to become The British Union of Fascists Seriously? or is it just a lame joke? You do realise that Labour in 2017 had it in there manifesto to uphold the result of what was originally billed as the once in a lifetime vote on to be in or out of the EU. Does this mean the Labour party are fascists as well? The millions of voters in Labours heartlands who voted to leave the EU, again are they all fascists?
