Well there is a chance it will unintentionally... “I hope he dies a horrible death, I wish him nothing but the worst, what a cunt, fuck you Boris Johnson........... I actually want to *care* about people”  In all honesty though, I think we need to be careful about vilifying people too much. She’s a kid, she’s clearly emotional and she’s speaking in the heat of the moment - could any of us swear hand on heart that we might not have been caught out saying something idiotic at the age of 19 or 20 or whatever? I’m certainly very grateful there were no camera phones around when I was that age. Over the course of time she will probably realise what a stupid thing to say that was. Maybe she already does. I don’t think hounding her down and seeking to deny her future employment opportunities on the basis of one off-the-cuff voxpop will lead anywhere good. |
