www.skysports.com/transfer-centre VERLINDEN BOLTON MEDICALAnother one in at Bolton. Stoke City midfielder Thibaud Verlinden is having a medical there. The 21-year-old has only made one senior appearance under Nathan Jones and would be open to a move away. All we can do now is laugh. Absolutely fucking clueless Stoke City. Can we also include a 'cry' option please Pugs?

The first time I've seen this message board in unanimous agreement....it's absolutely terrifying, how can so many with so many differing opinions on our club all agree that this move is a shocker but the people paid a fortune to make decisions contine to bumble along fucking up what was a wonderful football club!?

I am absolutely fucking livid at this He’s one of the very few players in this shower of shit I’d like to see. NJ, dropping like a stone in my estimation. Pure hypocrisy and rank bad Mgmt. I've been critical for a while as it's just never added up for me but with this I've reached full Mackey/Momo level. Absolute joke.

Ffs, he’s coming to come back brimming with confidence getting beaten 3-0 every week and being in the relegation zone his whole time there.
Yep. He’s being groomed as a stoke player.

I'm getting to care less and less about the club, so my concern here is for the player.
Surely sending him to League 1 is a backward step. He looks good enough to challenge for a place in a Championship side. Hopefully it won't set his career back any further than being at Stoke has done already.

You wouldn't send your worst enemy out to Bolton at loan at the moment. This is a shocker.
The club must think very lowly of him.
Which is odd because he was one the players I was most looking forward to seeing this season.
I would have been happy for us to build around Edwards, Collins and Verlinden.

I went to Elland Road on Tuesday, I left feeling positive, completely believing Jones was still the man. I still believed that until I saw the teamsheet on Saturday. Since that point at 2pm I've managed to go from someone who was 100% behind Nathan Jones to 100% against. This decision nailed it. Everything he says, he's done the opposite. Every promise he's made, he's failed on.
Get out of the club Nath, do the right thing.

As bad as the management of this club has been I didn’t think even they could be so stupid.
League One isn’t an easy league to get out of as clubs bigger than us have found out.

Is it a Nathan decision or is it out of his hands?
Either way, its a cluster fuck of a decision

Is it a Nathan decision or is it out of his hands? Either way, its a cluster fuck of a decision Probably a perfect storm of cluster-fuckery. Jones has potentially made it clear he's not part of his first team plans for now (ridiculously), and some other daft fucker has deemed it feasible to loan him out to fucking Bolton.

We still folded like a cheap deck of cards in the 90 minutes so nothing changed in that game from the norm, other than we drew instead of lost.

If he's not going to play then would rather he was on loan.
However rather he was in and around the side like Collins is.
Bolton are only allowed loans up to January so it's possible a new Stoke manager can have a look at him then. Alternatively if Jones is still in charge that could only be if he's turned it around in which case that could only mean the current players are doing the business (finally).
As of right now would expect it'll be a new manager taking a look at him.
What's Hughton's record re younger players?

The more I think about this move the more bizarre it is. Bolton haven't got a bean to spend so I can only assume we are paying virtually all his wages. If that's the case based on the fact it wouldn't cost very much for any Div 1 club to loan him, is this really the best option we could find?

Keeping him away from Jones and the current shit storm won't do him any harm.

Indeed, the old heads are serving us so well. Name me a manager who, in the midst of a poor run, decides to blood youngsters ? One who after witnessing abject surrender after abject surrender featuring Ince, McLean, Clucas, Allen, just might think a little bit of pace and ability to cross the ball might help. Please don’t say the Diamond doesn’t allow for wingers because none of our squad have the foggiest idea how to play the Diamond- it’s time our demented Druid was sacrificed to the God of Common Sense.

We still folded like a cheap deck of cards in the 90 minutes so nothing changed in that game from the norm, other than we drew instead of lost. More than that, felt like a big turning point, not the shootout win itself but the way it took place. Thought we played very well for 45 minutes, then we gifted them a goal & it was evident that a Leeds onslaught would ensue. The subs were wrong, the way we sat back and tried to soak it up was wrong, I was fuming at 85 mins and felt a Leeds winner was imminent. But, somehow we won & I left feeling like that's the monkey off the back, we nearly let it go again & thought the players must feel the same. It was relief more than anything but that for me was a massive chance to go again on Saturday with similar personnel and pick up where we left off Tuesday. And then he went and did what he did, woeful woeful management and that was it for me, coupled with this ridiculous decision today. Moronic.

A good move for him would have been a championship side IF we were still in the Premier league!!! Going to a shambolic run club in league one, who are bottom of the league, is a bad move!!! With us being bottom of the championship, you'd sort of expect him to be playing for us, at the very least, here and there!!!
