Interesting move given he went 433 on Saturday? I would have thought if it was a permanent shift then we need more than two wingers. If it isn't a permanent shift then why do it for just one game? Very odd. 'Cause he's lost the plot and fumbling around on his hands and knees for answers, unfortunately.

“It’ll take an outstanding offer to prise him away”.
Fucking hell Nath you’ve shown all the resistance of Gemma Collins at a Greggs counter with that one.
I’m convinced the bloke is mentally ill, he’s descending into utter insanity day after day.

Shall I put that link to the Coates/Scholes video again, so people can work it out for themselves?

Very odd. Certainly looks like he has't got a bloody clue what he's doing anymore, and is furiously throwing any old shit against the wall and seeing what sticks. We hired him to play the diamond, which completely defines him, and he now hasn't got the balls to play it! And, as you say, if we are now going to move away from it more regularly, we've just lost the only real alternative to McClean. Head's gone. I think his only choice now is to take a deep breath, and go full-fat diamond after the international break and succeed or fail on his own terms. He'll probably fail, but I can't really see what other choice he has

In any case, the evidence on and off the pitch tell me Jones is totally incapable of changing this around. I gave him the benefit of the doubt last season and through most of pre season but then when it became obvious he was fucking up 2 vital positions of HIS diamond, I knew the writing was on the wall. Live and die by your signings and decisions Nath? you won't be living much longer then.

Sending one of our most promising youngsters to a completely fucked up club in disarray is going to help his development then is it. I’m lost for words. Well, it could prepare him for what life's going to be at SCFC in the not so very future years... No, seriously, what bothers me about this transfer is that Jones is letting yet another quality player move away from the club. It would be all very well if we had brilliant midfield/winger createurs that were making it impossible for Thibo to get a game, yet none of our eight games played so far have had a single player of his class and style making it obvious that he wasn't selected, nothing apart from Jones being too chicken to try him.

As braindead as it is sending him out on loan, I’m not convinced that fucking Bolton is the only place we could have sent him. Why are we trying to wreck the careers of the young players we’ve spent millions on the academy on for? The club is rotten, we could honestly drop and then drop again, we are THAT rancid.

It would have been more useful to have sent Allen and Lindsay to Bolton
This is staggering. He's way too good for them and too good for us at the moment. Are they trying to break him or what???

This club is staffed top to bottom by Fucking morons. I'll get pelters for saying this but we need new owners - these fucking clowns haven't got a clue and it seems like things are only going to get worse with Jon at the helm. Surely there's some billionaire chinks who we could sell to? (not the helicopter ones though, that's too risky) It's tough, they haven't a clue but they do have money, enough bites at the cherry and eventually they'll get it right. We're not in a marketable area, even if we do well we're a smallish city with multiple clubs so it's hard to increase attendance over 30,000 even if we became really good. Other than our facilities I don't know that we're a very attractive proposition in business terms.

The only places he ought to be going in League one are Sunderland, Peterborough, Ipswich.
Bolton are down. Yet to even score. I don't see what having a losing mentality and weekly drubbings is going to do in the progress of Verlinden.
It is beyond belief that someone thinks this will further his career.

I fully expected this during the window, not surprised in the least. Let's face it Campbell would've gone if Afobe had stayed and the ManU link with Collins halted all plans to loan him out.

Surely there's some billionaire chinks who we could sell to? (not the helicopter ones though, that's too risky) They've been getting things all wrong 3 years running. And don't get me wrong, they have been good owners. They've backed their many managers, but fuck me they haven't any business acumen between them recently. You've got a CEO made of teflon, who survives every shit transfer and every decision he makes. We have a 1 star hygiene rating and can't bloody keep pies in safe conditions.
We sacked Hughes too late, pissed away the chance of signing QSF as manager resulting in an incredibly greatful Paul Lambert stepping in. We get relegated, sack him, back Gary Rowett with £50 Million and improve jack all. He gets sacked in 6 months, and Jones comes in to get us to the bottom of the Championship very quickly.
Meanwhile, Peter and John are currently sat with their thumbs up their own arse, keeping this idiot in charge, keeping teflon in his job, and everything is all roses. They're a collective bunch of morons, the whole lot of them, board, management and players.
We're going down quicker than a fat girl at Reflex.

Yet ano entry in the 'he hasn't got a Scooby' column - which, to be clear, was plenty long enough already.
Verlinden is surely one of the very few players that look like they might create something when he's come on and, lord knows, we need that in spades right now.

www.skysports.com/transfer-centre VERLINDEN BOLTON MEDICALAnother one in at Bolton. Stoke City midfielder Thibaud Verlinden is having a medical there. The 21-year-old has only made one senior appearance under Nathan Jones and would be open to a move away. All we can do now is laugh. Absolutely fucking clueless Stoke City.
