Verlinden - for me - is the most exciting player on our books at the moment ...... get him on the bench at least ??

Acid test of whether he’s in O’Neills plans is whether he plays next week. Players need resting and the Brentford wing / full backs push on, Verlinden should get more room to play and we can see whether he tracks back etc. If he plays well then O’Neills problems of cover on the flanks are resolved, letting him look at other areas.

Should of been our back up winger all season getting 15/20 minutes here and there hopefully gets a bit of game time throughout the rest of the season the second most gifted footballer at at the club behind powell

Letting him go out on loan was 100% the correct decision. Jones didn't play wingers and the most important thing with young players is making sure that they get regular football.
Bringing him back is now the correct decision because the new manager does want to play with wingers.

Indeed, it was absolutely pointless keeping him here under Jones with his ludicrous diamond bollocks. He's had a good loan and will come back much better.

Jones would have had to turn him In to a fullback to play him.

www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/18131648.bolton-want-thibaud-verlinden-extend-loan-stoke-city/“We have spoken to Stoke, we want him to stay,” he told The Bolton News. “But he has to understand his function for the team is as important as scoring goals. “The unnecessary flamboyancy at times – if it isn’t backed up with hard work, it’s pointless. We end up with the Accrington results. “He is somebody I love working with, it’s a positive challenge. He is like an elder son for me – I want to guide him, I want to help him play in the Premier League. “I’d pay to watch Eric Cantona, I’d pay to watch Youri Djorkaeff, but Thiabud at this moment in time I’d want a complimentary!” he laughed. “He will be a hell of a player, in time, but we don’t want too many mistakes on our watch. “I want Bolton Wanderers to be successful as well as Thibaud, so that’s my point. “I keep challenging him every day and sometimes it gets the better of him, sometimes it gets the better of me, but we’re good friends.” Makes you appreciate O'Neill.
Blaming him for a result Calling an employee a son Double speak in which every backhanded compliment is designed to inflate the quality of his own tutelage.
He comes across as an insincere huckster.

Get him back, pointless playing for a relegation bound team. Get him back to switch wings with mclean. Etherington and pennant were constantly switching to try and unsettle defences.
Think i saw it once against fulham but only because ince was out of position.

That can't be true. The man of the people on Twitter, Mr Carter, was pouring scorn on the mere suggestion?
