I'm indifferent regarding yet another Manager to be honest. I think my attitude would be to Jones, you got us into this mess.now you get us out of it. Even if it means another season stuck in the Championship. Unless Jones walks of course. Then my feeling would be that we need a right Bastard in charge if we can find one. A no nonsense Sergeant Major, which probably means a TP return. I think someone like Chris Hughton would be too "nice" to cope with the crisis and wouldn't be ruthless enough. Thing is if we had Tone it would almost certainly be the end of the progess we have made in bringing the youngsters through.

Would these players even suit his style? Where is the Fuller or Sidibe equivalent, or even a Delap or Lawrence? This lot don't look capable of grinding out a 1-0. It’d be something like Butland Smith Batth Lindsey Martins Indi Diouf Clucas Etebo McClean Gregory Vokes Gawd!

I think we have got to go foreign , there’s not many home grown managers that wud come, plus foreign managers seem to do well taking teams up if you get the right one , football as changed old school doesn’t work anymore

As I've said before FM, can see the appeal of Cowley to the board potentially but I just think we need someone in the Hughton or Moyes mould right now. Would be very un-Jones like though agreed! Yeah - I agree, Chig. I do think they'll go for someone who's been several times round the block, on the rebound from the Jones experiment Of course, Hughton aside ,there's not exactly a long list of such names assuming Moyes is a non-starter! The problem for me is that the more it drags on, the more chance there is that Hughton could still go Hudders if their German appointment doesn't happen, and the ever more chance that the TP name will rear its ugly head in the press at least. It should be a case of act fast for Hughton or the ever unlikely Moyes, or the face the potential consequences.

You're talking like its a done deal, what have you heard? Haven't heard anything. But it's got to the point where it's obvious he's not going to be here much longer, hasn't it? I wouldn't be staggered if he went in the next 48 hours. And if they are worried about Hughton potentially going to Huddersfield, it might hasten it?

I honestly don’t know what to do. We’re in a right mess aren’t we? It’s going to get worse before it gets better and in the absence of having anything constructive to add I think I’m going out. What a bloody shambles

It would take a Lazarus style recovery for Jones to turn it round. I'm not convinced just changing the manager will achieve the desired results, if we could convince anyone to take it on. We need a complete restructure (which should have happened after relegation) new CEO, New head of recruitment, New marketing manager, New supporters liaison manager, New first team manager etc. I guess like a lot, I'm just not convinced the club will make the right decisions.

What about Cowley? Rightly or wrongly, just got a suspicion they'll go for something very un-Jones-like, which means we won't be considering anyone of his ilk, and focus on experience Mmmm... Maybe if we're bumming around in League 1 but in our position? Runs the risk of being another Jones/Paul Hurst

What a bloody shambles Today...a stadium sat in silence. Not booing. Not angry. People leaving just smiling and shrugging their shoulders. This is rock bottom. It can’t get worse now it can just continue at this level but it can’t get any worse. Apathy is where we are at.

Think Pearson/Keane would be a disaster in the circumstances. Would genuinely rather have Pulis than either.

I said this at the match - whoever we get needs to be an absolute bastard of a person. Someone who is prepared to smash some balls and egos. I would love Chris. Hughton to be given the chance but deep down I think he will be too nice and will get trodden on by the shitesters in our squad (whoever they are). Also if we get a bastard as manager we need to find a co bastard to play in midfield

We've really whittled it down to Monk, Pulis, O'Neil haven't we if Hughton doesn't take it, which is absolutely dread inspiring on the whole. Can't see mad mick being tempted to leave the ROI job and Bruce still probably has a few games left in him yet at Castle. Voidy made a suggestion of Kenny Jackett the other day in a reply to me on something as well. (I think you mate anyway)!

It won't be an up and coming young manager that's for sure. That's two we've tried. How did potter do today? You can see why teams go for experience

When a new manager comes in, he won’t know any of these players and then has to pick a team straight away. How do we expect that to go? It will take weeks for any new manager to see all these players in action during training but with 3 games a week it isn’t going to be easy
