Please correct me if I'm wrong. We were going along quite nicely I think with Bojan doing ok and performing. He had demolished Man City. He got a terrible injury on a shitty pitch at Rochdale. He was never the same again. You're very wrong. In what respect KP..? My memory is not brilliant.

He will make a great Stoke manager one day.
Good luck with the rest of your playing career Bojan and thanks for some wonderful memories.

All the best bojan. One of the best I’ve seen in a stoke shirt.. Stoke city doing a good job of getting rid of there better players. All we need now is them to sell etebo and we will be a team of bang average players A bang average player left the club today by mutual consent A “bang average” player who played over 140 games for Barcelona, won champions league medals etc.,etc. Scored some excellent goals for Stoke against the likes of Man Utd, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham etc., Wow - you set high standards! Doubt we’ll be seeing any more of this type of “bang average” player for a while. Only limited, blinkered, unimaginative managers let opportunities like this slip through their grasp, without trying everything to take advantage of their good fortune. I doubt whether Tony Waddington would have pushed Bojan out. He would almost certainly have built a team and system around him, as he did with Alan Hudson.

On the day we parted company with a player who came through the youth ranks with Barcelona and broke all kinds of goalscoring records we are being linked with a player (Hogan) who came through the youth ranks at Rochdale. Makes you want to weep.

He left Barcelona near on 9 years ago those 140 games are in the dim n distant pal as are alot of the games n goals you mentioned . Has he managed 140 games since??? He never got close to winning at P. O. Y award here either. Hope he does well wherever he goes.

The competition diminishes significantly at every transfer window!

Something wasn't right behind the scenes between auccessive managers and Bojan.. Jones included. Before I'm told he was average or weak or something else I'd like to point out that Jones was insincere in his comments about his 'conversations' with players that the club no longer want. Jones said he'd had a positive conversation with Pieters before he was sent out on loan.. a claim Pieters directly contradicted earlier this year. I dont believe Jones is being honest in what he's saying which is disingenuous, in my opinion. He would have been better saying nothing rather than spreading misinformation. Given that .. who know what his real reasons for letting Bojan go were.

Nick Powell will prove to better in my opinion You're not listening are you? He came through the Barcelona system and therefore he should be good for Stoke until he's at least 55 is all you need to know. The here and now doesn't matter. The fact that Moha also came through the Barcelona system but would never make it in English football, or that Eidur Gudjohnsson was previously at Barcelona but was a big fat waster by the time he came to Stoke don't do anything whatsoever to disprove that a Barcelona association alone is sufficient for Bojan to keep his place in a Stoke team until 2050. Nor is the fact that no club in any major league anywhere seems to want him - even on a free - and his most likely destination - at the age of 28 - is that care home for aged footballers looking for a pension top-up - the MLS. Bojan should be starting for Stoke week in week out - that's just an irrefuteable fact - now if you could be so kind will you just agree with it and stop trying to debate the undebateable.

Goodbye spanish rose May you ever show me your arse You are the sexiest bastard I’d love to tear you apart
And it seems to me you lived your life In Bojan Mackeys basement Never escaping when you had chance To be abused again And your footsteps will always fall here On the Bet365 hills Your candle’s burned out long before My boner ever will
Love and gayness to my gorgeous magician xxxxxxxxx

Thanks for your efforts, but I still think it's nitpicking. The club have reason to feel aggrieved also. They have had an employee that was brought to the company at a cost, was paid excellent wages and ultimately failed to deliver the required quality/quantity of services. They haven't asked for their money back, but at the end of the day, they have fired an employee and said, "thanks for your efforts" and have left out "but we're firing you because they weren't good enough". Why make a highlights package? So the uninformed can look at them and complain about how Stoke messed up by letting him go? Have you seen the highlights package of Brek Shea? Anyone would think he was George Best, Marradonna, Messi and Ronaldo all rolled into one! Enjoy your memories, rewatch them on youtube a million times, set up a shrine in your bedroom, or whatever floats your boat, but to suggest that when Stoke "fire" someone, they should make out that we have lost the greatest thing since sliced bread is just plain silly. It was reported a few weeks ago he’s basically agreed to not be paid so he can just leave. That was how sick of us he was. He’s not been ‘fired’. Do you not think it’s odd that. Bojan is the only one this has happened to? It’s because he said he was happy not to be paid. ever heard of constructive dismissal? Not saying it happened here, but if it's too expensive to simply terminate an employee, it makes sense to have them resign.
