Quite. They'd merely have to refer to the Baggies fans for a confidence boost if they got a bit twitchy at any point.. Didn't know he relegated them

They managed to keep a good number away for 1 game in 2015, think it was Spurs. But I doubt they could keep that up for an entire season but even if they did there's nothing to suggest Ashley would move on until he's ready. Even Oyston at Blackpool was only moved on because of unpaid debts to an ex-chairman I think, rather than any fan protest.

disappointing from Rafa, not for holding firm on his word about Newcastle, more for being so readily available to a chinese club.
surely he's got more to give in the european leagues than chasing the money?

He'll be back, if Pellegrini can Benitez will have absolutely no problem. He's probably going for a quick buck and will come back to Europe in 2 years with no damage to his reputation. (Pellegrini was terrible in China.)

That would just be hilarious. Proven manager wished he was ours. Proven Championship manager with numerous promotions*, has he still got it? Not right for Newcastle and could end up leading them to relegation, but would probably resign before it happened which he has a habit of doing. *Brum x 2, Hull x 2

Sheffield weds will be well titled if this goes through. Doesnt go into post until Feb and then off in July

Mark Hughes must be at a loss as to why Bruce is above him in the pecking order. A man of Mark's talents you'd think would walk in

£5m compensation for Steve Bruce. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. £5m is nothing for a Prem team How come fees like this are considered a lot for a manager but hardly significant for a player?

Bruce will have managed 3 local city rivals if he gets appointed Newcastle manager. Sheff Utd & Weds, Bham C & Villa & now Sunderland & Newcastle. He must love the friction it creates! Aside from the £'s!

We played some of the best football that I have witnessed in the 54yrs I’ve supported this club under Hughes. It’s a crying shame that some on here fail to acknowledge that fact.
