Text book Stoke, textbook guys....😆 “We haven’t made any announcements yet, but we have been working on getting as much of it done befor e pre-season starts and so before training starts next Wednesday, you’ll be seeing a number of announcements. “We’ve got business lined up, some of it you can’t do until a certain point, and we are at a point where we know we’ve got a number of things done which will all be put in place before pre-season starts.” Wednesday the clue for me That wasn’t what I was referring to, the thread title is what I based the response on! ‘Scholes - There'll be announcements early next week’ Unless you’re telling me Wednesday is earlier in the week than it use to be 😀👍🏻 |

Genuinely don’t get all the knickers twisting. Does it really matter when these signings are announced, they’re the worst kept secrets in football 😂. Exactly, why should stoke start to pay the wages of players who are not yet being asked to report for training. Think about how much in wages we are actually saving by not getting them in before pre season starts. Think it's a very astute business move by stoke, let their clubs pay for them until absolutely necessary |

Cracking video. Almost Kubrik-esque. i'd say it was more the combination of old matthew vaughn and guy ritchie movies. Sped up, then slowed down and key points (itself inspired by late 90s Soderbergh) Btw, it's not a dig at the club, just my comparison of editing film techniques. Kubrick's tended to be lingering with small tracking motion. anyway ..... i realise its a football forum. |
