The midfield was fine on Sat. Joe looks a little lost and I dont think the formation suits him but he still did ok. You don't defend with 10 men for 45 minutes and not concede with 'no midfield', agendas eh?

As bad as mad Nath was it always makes me wonder how Badou was literally the only player he managed to get a tune out of during his time here

Is this an Ndiaye thread or the Huddersfield match thread ? No as with most threads nowadays it’s the Bayern/Crapslinger ‘look at me’ thread. Don’t you know anything? I avoid match threads most times now, and quite a few threads as it's the same ones going around and around the same things

This has to got to be a permanant surely to God? You would have to think so, right? Given that he was playing a lot at his previous club, why would we bother wasting time to get him a new loan? I do remember it being said that this one didn't pay much of his wages though. If they can't afford even that now, and the new team can afford more, I suppose that Stoke would do that deal. Edit: if they do however, its very short sighted. He may as well kick a ball around in a back garden for the amount of good its going to do his market appeal for a future sale. If its a loan, Stoke probably realise he'll be back in Turkey in the summer anyways.

Praying it's permanent and a decent fee, but highly doubt it. These are known for loans and freebies.

So we are still paying a small fortune to characters that would rather play in the Saudi Arabian league than at Stoke City?
It is unfathomable just how bad our recruitment has been since 2015.

Surely if it’s a loan they must be prepared to pay a bigger slice of his salary?

You do have to wonder don't you. When he went back to top Turkish clubs, you could half understand the motivation: European football, even if only for a while. How is the Saudi league ANYWHERE close to the Championship, either in quality, or recognition? He's obviously burned his bridges here now and stands no chance of getting back in the squad this season (or next most likely).

Makes much more sense.
We'd have to sell at around £4m for it to be considered not a loss on FFP wouldn't we? Who's paying that?
I'd imagine Al-Ain are paying all of his wages, mind?

You don't defend with 10 men for 45 minutes and not concede with 'no midfield', agendas eh? If I never see Joe and Mikel line up together ever again it will be too soon One headless chicken caught out of position a lot, and one slow cumbersome dawdler who cant jump and has cost us a goal on his last couple of starts with an inability to clear the ball, leave the ground for a header, or get out to his man quickly enough to block a shot. Its a horrific midfield at the min with little to no creativity, Jimmy Mac runs his bollocks off but is so short on quality on the ball its untrue (no doubting his work ethic) Only Clark looks like putting a decent ball in with Collins down the right - Nozzas crossing hasn't been great so far, perhaps its catching (not crossing well)

Maybe they'll pay all his wages rather than a proportion of them? All these players leaving on loan is very disappointing and a bit shit to be honest. It would be good to see the back of them once and for all.

It really is a disgrace, both the player and how we've got ourselves into this mess with so many players. Unfortunately the stoke charity will roll on for another season with most of them, and the next in the case of Bauer.

I totally get that and it is better than partially paying them obviously. But I still can't believe we can't see him. Despite what anyone may think of him as a man or whatever, he's a good footballer and I just can't believe we haven't found someone to buy him. I can with the rest but Badou could play in most mid level PL sides midfields. Just such a waste on his behlaf as much as anyone tbh.

Despite all these issues with shit signings on long lucrative contracts some high transfer fees paid our CEO is still in a job where else would such gross incompetence and failure be rewarded with a pay rise ? I would wager my house on he would have been out on his skinny arse if he had been employed by Bet 365. The club is run by amateurs who have little or no business acumen.
