I'd rather Badou be on the road back to Stoke on Trent and Mikel on the other side of the road fucking off to Qatar. Mikel, who was excellent yesterday, wants to be here, Badou doesn't When a senior Pro turns his back on a shot at goal I am not sure the term excellent is applicable, he has been a good player same as Fletcher are they a long term solution or even a solution for next season ?

You'd think even we'd be capable of getting a decent fee from a billionaire owner of a Saudi /Qatary club. When you say "we'd"........ Our flawless crack transfer team don't you trust them ?

Mikel excellent🤣🤣 he sticks a lazy leg out for first goal and then strolls about at a snails pace for the rest of the game. Should be dropped along with Brendan Rodgers’ love child.

Mikel and Thompson 4/10, Allen 2. Thompson defended excellently as did Mikel and Cousins when they came on. That's why Huddersfield didn't get through us once, everything they did went wide. With ten men and Allen offering nothing on the day how do you think we kept them out?

Huddersfield were appalling and we just sat deep all game. And we got lucky.

We didn't have a midfield that was effective with regards to taking control of possession and creating attacking opportunities, is that what you mean? We obviously had a midfield, that obviously worked very hard defensively and on their shape for 45 minutes to ensure that Huddersfield didn't really create too many clear cut chances in the second half despite the advantage.

They didn’t work hard. Mikel was floating around doing fuck all for most of the game. Huddersfield were just appalling and we got lucky with McClean dropping on the line for that one. But defensively the midfield were awol all game.

Mikel does what good midfield players do, passes and moves, he was the only Stoke player who consistently found a team mate with a pass. He also got a foot in and continually broke Huddersfield play in front of our back four. Unfortunately he was battling alone because Allen and Thompson were both worse than wank.

Yes he was higher up, and committing petty fouls higher up the pitch that broke up the play. We played half a game with ten men and didn't lose, two of our three midfield players were wank, Mikel was a major reason we didn't lose. He is probably our most important player after Powell.

A major reason we didn't lose is because we had one midfield player who could keep the ball and was professional enough to know when to make the right challenge in the right area. MON may have set up negatively but that doesn't mean that Mikel wasn't excellent.

Mikel like everyone bar Clarke was shite.
