He pulled us all over the park at our place last season. Good signing, but needs to prove fitness and an element of attitude. Is Jones is going diamond with him at 10 and Vokes Gregory up top we look a serious physical threat again but were desperately going to need pace from the full backs... step forward 33 year old Ward! Instinct is to agree with you, but I thought the same about Hutton land he was magnificent for villa. Good example that to be fair! |

I think it's just his obvious languid, confident style. I thought it was a good interview. He has a good edge to him and he certainly isn't making any excuses or trotting out cliches. Interesting character. That’s what I thought. Gave me impression of having a degree of confidence in his own ability bordering on arrogance, which sometimes you need. One thing I can see being a potential issue though is if he doesn’t perform and the fans turn on him....getting a finger shush will be tame by comparison....I just don’t think he will take any shit and he will be more than happy to give it out. |
