Just interested who everyone is voting for? For me it's between Edwards, Allen and Etebo with special mention to Butland and Batth when he came into the side. Should we all vote for Allen/Butland to up their price tag??

Over the season as a whole, I just can't make a convincing case for anyone but Butland.
Etebo has shown up very well in patches and Edwards is coming on strong after Christmas, but don't think either has done enough to really be in the final shake-up. Allen is the only other one to warrant a mention.

Etebo for me.
For his first season in English football he seems to have settled in admirably. Even when his performances haven’t been the best you can never accuse him of hiding or sulking.
Before this season, the most senior games he’d played in a season was 23. He’s played 33 this season and that’s not including internationals, so this season was always going to be a challenge for him.

Has to be butland. Everyone else has been pretty average to crap really. If he doesn't win it, it's a joke. Far too many terrible performances from far too many individuals. People saying etebo, he's been all over the place in the early season, dropped, came back stronger but nothing short of being better than the rest, nothing too mind blowing and taking his age away you would say he has also had a very average season

Danny Batth for me. I don't think his impact on the team should be underestimated. Just think where we'd be without him and Cucco fucking Martina still pissing about in the squad.
I don't see it for for Butland. Is capable of absolutely world class saves, but makes some crazy decisions, flaps too often for my liking and distribution is arttrocious. We've seen the standard he set when we were in the Premier League. His performances when he took over from Begovic and before he broke his wrist were absolutely worthy of it. But now? Nah.

You can't vote Edwards, Riccyfuller93 says "he's wank" and he's played football at a decent standard so knows his onions.
Butland gets it for me to keep his price tag up a bit.

Out of respect to the fans they should give the whole thing a miss this year. Its been nothing short of bloody woeful all around. Can't think of anyone who deserves it. If pushed I would say McLean, because despite the grief he gets he's turned up every time he has been asked to. Not the greatest player but if we had that attitude throughout the squad we would have been in the mix up for the play offs this year, no doubt. Annus Horriblus and the quicker I forget about it the better.

Butland, 17 clean sheets and 4th best save percentage in the league. I don't know what his expected G stats are, but I wager he's conceded far fewer than he was supposed to.
His dodgy start (which actually amounted to about 3 games) tarnished a lot of fan's attitude towards him this year.

I would go for Butland
Amongst the most productive outfield players have been McClean and Ince
McClean 3 goals and 6 assists in 30 starts Ince 6 goals 6 assists in 34 starts.
Etebo has only 1 assist in 27 games and Allen has 6 but that is in 44 games.
1. Butland 2. Baath 3. Edwards

"Player of the Season" Butland. You get nothing for half of the season. Simples.

Can only really be between these 4:
Butland, Allen, Etebo, Edwards.
And out of those it’s Allen for me. Butland is worse at saving freekicks than our opponents’ keepers are at saving our penalties. I think he’s had a poor season.

No need for handing out accolades , let's see if they can give us something to be proud of next season.

Probably in about the same place, see Gary Rowett for the same (if not higher in the league) but for all that it matters, it was worth the exchange. This season is a write off.

They cancelled it last year and the same should happen this season. Utterly woeful from start to finish, you can't have a 'player of the season' from so many diabolical performances. If pushed....nobody!

It should be Joe Allen. Only other person with any validity is Jack Butland. Nobody else has had more than half a dozen good games all season.

Butland by a million miles. I posted elsewhere that I truly believe we could have been relegated without him.
He will be missed if he goes so it would be a fitting tribute
