Arrogant man who did a terrible job at Stoke. Nothing in that long presentation does anything to change my view, on the contrary my views are strengthened. I did laugh at the justification of specialist coaches: "Kev got Saido scoring". Unless you've got a lot of time to fill I wouldn't bother listening. I laughed at that too. Three goals in 23 games apparently.

I feel like he knew of the calibre of player required to perform in this division and, on the face of it, some of his signings are definitely proven Championship players. That said you can't argue the return on the money he spent has been woefully poor - and taking the fans re Bojan etc was inane to say the least. As was his lack of flexibility.
I actually think Rowett would have signed another centre-half in January but I'm glad we didn't get that far given his questionable thought process re playing Ashley Williams and saying there 'isn't much difference' between Martina, Bauer and Edwards. He's been made to look like a fool there.

Just tried and got the dreaded 404?
Predictably however, the preceeding comments and split opinion thus far give me little clue as to whether i have missed owt worth pursuing.
(And for the record, I was sceptical / underwhelmed at first, quickly followed by alarm bells going off very loudly on my 'full-of-piss-and-wind-ometer'.)

If he hadn't had odd moments of complete cuntishness, then we could look back on him as just producing shit football. Unfortunately for him, he proved himself to be a bit of a Cunt.

No. I was content to be entirely objective and give Rowett the benefit of the doubt but it felt like there was never any momentum under his management and often there was no clear sense of what he was hoping to achieve. Also the players confidence, fitness or team ethic didn't really seem to improve. Under Jones I feel that after the first couple of games there has been a definite gradual improvement, indeed the performance against Sheffield Wednesday was at times the best I have seen us for around 2 and a half years. He is doing a very good job despite not having all of the component parts to play the way he wants to and he also seems like a manager who will help us to develop our own players and will look for character in players over reputation. Rowett 3/10 - Jones 8/10.
