I don’t see why anybody would be surprised or want Bojan to go to WBA. The club gets enough shit, never mind selling one of our “most loved” players to a “local rival”. There would have been hell up on here. I still believe there is an underlying reason Bojan isn’t in the team, all these managers not picking him can’t be wrong. So if no managers here rate him. Why not let the lad leave? Like he said in the interview, there was a deal to suit everyone, but no, the board decide to be dicks and let the lad rot because they don’t want any more flack for the clusterfuck of a situation they’ve already created. The move was to West Brom. Like it or not the club made the right decision. If we allowed him to move their the reaction (rightfully) would have been worse than not playing him at all. NJ has a massive problem on his hands here and there is only 2 options left. Play him consistantly or come out and tell us whats really going on if its financial or he doesnt fancy him or he doesnt work hard enough in training. He has to say the truth now as nothing else will wash.

I'm sure this is the reason for his timing of his comments; he wants to play. I get the love in for Bojan, but this is bad timing on Jones part and could make this season even more toxic, potentially seeing us get rid of another manager, who so far has offered nothing on top off the previous, but who's better than the rest of the clubs set up.

Insane and obscene. You’ve got a cultured, talented player WANTING to play for the club who can’t get on the pitch above the current wastes of fucking space and wages who look like they’d rather be anywhere else.
This has to run deeper than football. It must do. How didn’t he get minutes against either Wigan or Ipswich when Afobe and Ince get more than a game and a half between them in the same time?
Well done Stoke.

Bojan has far more to offer than Ince. If NJ rewatches yesterday’s game and studies Inces performance and lack of effort,, he should decide that a underachieving Bojan would contribute more.
Terrible attitude, to obstruct this lads carrear. Although I must admit had he gone to WB and done well there would have been hell to play on here! That however is no excuse for his treatment, but a sad inditement of the management of the club.
Would uncle Peter and the board be aware of any offers? You would hope so. Why refuse good money for a player who is not going to get game time? The only answer can be fear of supporters reaction, combined with more money than sense.

They're playing games with a lads career and to me that’s not fair, it seems obvious he just wants to play football. Seems he was promised that so he didn’t want to leave and all of a sudden it’s been took away from him again. Can’t blame him for coming out and saying something now. I do agree with your second point. Someone needs to come out and say something, it’s become a joke.

The frustration for me is that I felt when he has played, he has at the very least played ok, and for me definitely earned a place in the next game. But this has been the story for such a long time. Plenty of other players seem to be given chance after chance but not Bojan. I want him played regularly for a period so we can judge him once and for all. Berahino, Afobe, and Ince, have all been given a fair crack and still have question marks against them for me. I fear we might soon be adding Vokes to the list too.
Sadly, this last interview might see the end of Bojan at Stoke. We are run by idiots it seems. The only mystery is the fact that successive managers have treated Bojan similarly. At least NJ has promoted him to the bench though.

I would have been quite angry initially but I would have been happy for him and our club would have moved on. Lying to him and the to the fans is absolutely disgusting. I already don’t believe a word they say anymore. I liked NJ but now he looks like another lying coward as well. This is much more of mess than letting him go. If there is a reason he’s not playing it should have been said before and he should have allowed to leave. The problem is now that they lied and made him stay so the point is they’ve made him stay and any reason they give will just be met with why didn’t you just let him leave them. It’s just embarrassing and absolute disgrace.

I think this may be an outcome which lets the club "off the hook" so to speak How do we move on as a club? Pieters out on loan, where is Diouf? ....

It's fucking joke how this club is run from top to bottom, how this lad is not getting a run of games when week after week we watch the same all shit! It' embarrassing.
Hope he gets a move and starts playing again, he's been a model professional and deserves so much better.
Didn't want to comment on Jones least to the end of the season but it's very worrying what's happening on the pitch, from his chopping and changing of tactics and the bizarre lineups and substitutions. Its hard not to judge the bloke, he's been awful.
Hope he can turn it around in the summer but he's not shown anything to suggest he can, the job already seems to big for him and he seems lost in his post match interviews. This is whole new level he's been use to and it shows massively. Which ever way you look at it the board took a massive gamble offering him the job which is bizarre seeing how they've made their future and the money at stake.
It's embarrassing how the club operate on and off the pitch when no lessons are every learnt. Think the club will be in for massive wake up call with the season tickets sales.
What a joke we've become.

Know it was for me. These fucking managers who constantly cry out for that extra bit of quality have some neck on them. Can only think it's economics. They want him out and if they play him and he does well they'll look like fools when he leaves.

It beggars belief. Something very strange about this. And Pieters and Diouf. If it’s money related then it’s short sighted. But how can it be when we are paying Eriks wages? It stinks. And early bird season tickets? A downward spiral self inflicted by political machinations. Whatever the reason the common denominator is Scholes. As long as he’s in situe an accountant mindset will exist. That’s a bit rich coming from me as I was an accountant myself but I like to think a human one which the hierarchy at Stoke seem not to be

The part I don’t understand is that NJ wants us to play the diamond and Bojan is the most suited player at the club to sit at the top of the diamond. He did better there at Hull than anyone else has done in any other game.

The Bojan situation should be the first question asked to Nathan Jones in his next press conference.
"Why, yet again is Bojan not being picked ahead of players who have had chance after chance yet consistently haven't delivered?"

I'll bet they didn't want him to go the West Brom.
Just imagine the shitstorm had he gone there and performed well - and possibly helped them to promotion - while we're lumbered with Berahino, McClean and Fletcher.

When he sees Tom ince and James McLean both playing in positions that he can play, and the team still score no goals and create absolutely nothing at all you can understand why he’s thoroughly pissed off.
He’s far and away the most creative player we have. He can see and execute forward passes that others aren’t even aware of. He takes the play forward. All things that the above mentioned and others aren’t capable of. He should be in the team for the rest of the season to give a true reflection of what he can and will offer. Afterall it’s not like we have better alternatives.

If we had a decent offer from WBA I really don't understand why we didn't let him go. He will be a ghost here as long as he isn't in the team, we'd got rid of his wages and I guess WBA were willing to pay a fee as well from what Bojan is saying. Strange decision for me, and we still need a clear out as I see it. ![:))](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/jitsPgqXBozY69AOPrPg.gif)

That question now needs to start why did you lie to him and lie to the fans....and the fact that that question now needs to be asked is the bigger issue. It’s not about who is playing it’s about how they are treating our players and the fans.

I feel sorry for him but it’s only been a few weeks since their chat, he needs to prove he is worthy of the chance. I’m really surprised we didn’t let him go in the window. No fucker else is proving their worth though. That's the annoying thing.

I think this may be an outcome which lets the club "off the hook" so to speak How do we move on as a club? Pieters out on loan, where is Diouf? .... In Bojan’s case, it definitely seems the best solution for everyone now. But we are making some strange, strange decisions as a club at the moment. Letting Pieters go without a replacement, sending Campbell out on loan just as he’s broken into the first team and bringing in Vokes for £10m when our season isn’t going anywhere. Diouf being seemingly bombed out is a great example - has always tried his best and seems a good character. Despite his obvious limitations, at this level he’s clearly capable of making a useful contribution IMO. Yet we seem to have sacked him off! Going to be an interesting summer again when all our unshiftable loanees like Wimmer, Imbula, etc, return as well to add to the toxic mix.

They are making it very difficult to support this club right now.
Stoke City have become an unlikeable embarrassment of a football club that I no longer recognise or even relate to anymore.
Heartbreaking stuff after 25 years.

We lack creativity, we lack genuine pace up front, so we leave out Bojan and bomb out Diouf, it makes no sense to not give these two at least a decent run of games, as others have stated we are not going down it's a no brainer surely, or is that to simplistic ?

Though upsetting and frustrating for Bojan, he will probably be able to deal with the situation better himself knowing that he will be exiled to the U23’s and 18’s rather than waiting week on week to see if he’s even made the bench. God knows how many players we’ve squeezed the life out of over the last 2-3 years or so!

I'm starting to despise my own club, I've had a season ticket since 1986 and seriously considering not renewing next season. I don't want to be part of these players at the moment they are a vile bunch. This is just the straw that broke the camels back. Give the lad a run of games or pay his contract up and let him go somewhere he will be able to play and be treated with a bit of respect. Embarrassing

And as for NJ this isn't a free hit for the rest of the season, and at the moment he's making a royal fuck up of it. He will be sacked with his fucking diamond bullshit by April.
