For all my doubts,I hope that when he comes in, he does things his way and doesn't feel the need to change his system to accommodate our highly paid megastars. If his whole approach is based on a diamond, then I hope he sticks to that instead of just jamming McClean into a 4-2-3-1 or something.

If some of the comments on here are a reflection of the wider fan base he'd be better off staying at Luton.

We haven't tapped him up illegally. There has been absolute silence from the board other than announcing Rowetts departure. We are conducting ourselves in exactly the way that is required, within the laws of the game. The Luton fans are worried by this, the lads I work with are resigned to him going and have said we have the chance to go extremely far if he is given time. I'm excited! I just hope to god we give him time and not rip in to him after the first defeat I completely agree, it's a must that we as a fan group give the bloke time. If he shows the same passion and humility as he normally does in his interviews, i'm sure he will win us over especially considering the last managers media style. |

Just watched a post-match interview where Jones asks the interviewer to be more enthusiastic with their questions because he was absolutely bouncing after the 0-0 at Wednesday.

What will this do about the clamour for change in the Directors?
Isn't this guy a colleague of Cartwright from previously suggesting that he will come and fit into the system rather than trying to change it?
Its a pretty big leap to suggest a season in the second and 5 months of form in the 1st division will translate into a promotion push given it was written yesterday that we want instant results not a project

Defo a glass half empty person, but I think has disaster written all over it. A new manager is exciting, especially after the shit we have had to endure, but you would hope due diligence has been done. This look fair to risky in terms of our parachute payments run out in a season and a half. Not for me. |

If I were Jones I'd stay where I was. There are some inherently fucked up things going on at this club at the moment. H The fact that we're interested in Jones being one of them. Personally, if true, I think it's fucking madness. There has to be wholesale changes in ethos and personnel on and off the field if this guy has any chance of succeeding.
