I’m prepared to be more lenient with Jones than Rowett. Rowett has been in this division for years and had arguably at the start of the season the best squad and best budget in the league, and systematically cocked it right up whilst also having a dig at the fans and ostracising popular players for no apparent reason. Jones is inheriting a shitshow and I’m hoping he can see what we all see and steadily drain the unwanted silage out of the exit door. It’s about time we took a risk on an up and coming manager. Very very big of you. At least I have the bollocks to post my own opinion.

www.stokecityfc.com/news/jones-named-new-manager" Welcome Nathan... NATHAN JONES is the new manager of Stoke City, the Club are delighted to confirm.
The 45-year-old Welshman takes up the reins at the bet365 Stadium after the Potters agreed a compensation package with his former club Luton Town.
Jones enjoyed great success at Luton with a brand of expansive football. Last season he guided them to promotion from League Two and they currently sit second in the League One table.
John Coates and Peter Coates said: “Nathan is an incredibly driven and passionate individual and we are delighted to have secured his services for Stoke City. Luton were in the lower reaches of the League Two table when Jones took over at Kenilworth Road in January 2016 but won 11 of his first 21 games in charge to finish 11th.
In his first full season as manager he steered the Hatters into the play-offs and last season they went one better as they secured automatic promotion.
Before taking over at Luton he worked in the Championship with Brighton, operating as assistant head coach under Oscar Garcia and first-team coach under both Sami Hyypia and Chris Hughton.
Whilst at Brighton he also had a spell working alongside Gareth Southgate during his spell in charge of the England Under-21 side." Attachment Deleted

Never heard of him before a few days ago but he is now the Stoke manager and deserves our full support.
I really hope it works out for him as his success is also our success.
